During break-in you must have ridden your bike at 5000 rpm till the first 1000 km,don't push your bike to the extreme give her time.Gradually increase the rpm from 5000 to 6000 for the next 500 km then 6000 to 7000 for the next 500 and so on.This is how i trained my baby. Most of the members might agree with this method.
Thanks for the advice man . But as per manual the rpm limit is 5k for first 500 and 7.5k till 1k. I followed that though. I accelerate gradually and hope it's good for the engine in the long run.

Can anyone tell me where can I buy the motocool coolant in bangalore? Having a hard time finding it. The haven't topped up since I bought the bike and the asc guys are telling to get it done in next service. Any help would be appreciated.

How old is your bike? Coolant top up will usually be required after about a year.. Check the level in the reservoir.. If its near 'full', don't worry about it

It's just a month old and the coolant level is near the low mark. I didn't check it while taking the delivery so may be it wasn't fully topped up.

Yes possibly... It takes a long time for it to drop to low.. U will need about 200ml to top up, buying a 1L bottle isn't worth..

Yeah I had been to the asc, they weren't ready to top up. They told we'll top up the next service. Have to check in other asc I guess.

It's been 20k+ Kms and nearly 1.5 years of touring on this bike and I'm just happy with everything the way it just is except for when I'm travelling at nights on the highway and foggy roads. The stock high-beam setup is really poor that i just stay from 60-75kph in-order to avoid any obstacles whatsoever. My concerns aren't regarding speed but better visibility or the best available. HID's and Projectors are out of the list. I'm planning of upgrading both the lights to 60/55W one's and yes I do know that it will drain the battery in a few hours and I can live with it but the dilemma is about which bulb to go for. Any white or blue light has lesser penetration compared to regular yellow so the more yellower, The better but there seem to be no manufacturers here focused on bringing 3000k like lighting on regular halogens and that is when I stumbled upon these----> http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER [Hella Optilux Series]
The reviews are positive, The brand is well known, The price including shipping to India comes exactly at 26.36$ which is at 1648 Rupees. I was having a budget of 2k but this looks better on my pocket. I'm thinking of just giving it a try, Anyway it is going to be better than stock. Can I have your views on this? Attaching a picture for reference.

I guess Osram Night Breaker Unlimited is better.. Been using it for almost a year on 1 side ( left side ) and am pretty much satisfied with the output. Has better throw, better visibility and brighter than most of the bikes ( even better than old cars sometimes ) pair costs around 1200 i guess. Check it out in my bike,if you want before buying.. Tell me if you wanna meet somewhere.

PS: Mine is Osram Night Breaker Plus.. Unlimited is better than plus
