Kamla Yamaha service center guys tell me to lube using chain lube spray but then another Yamaha authorized service center guys tells me its better to apply paste type grease on chain as it will last long somewhere around 1500 kms as opposed to 500 km on chain lube spray. One service center guys contradicts other. What do you guys suggest?

Why is it when I remove the air filter for cleaning or replacing, I always find some oil on the airbox?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think O2 sensor was installed on r15 v2.0 since 2013 itself.

IIRC, it's post 2015 that the O2 sensor was installed.

You will have some traces of oil due to blowby from the engine, which is normal. That's why you have a provision of oil drain in the air filter box, ( a long tube that you see with a plug at the end) this tube must be drained if you see this tube filled with oil. Little amount of oil is normal.

              Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

              THE END

Hi bikers ...my r15 v2 got its second service today but have started getting this problem

                1) sometimes when I switch on the pilot light , it's take a while before it lights up

                2) sometimes when I switch from pilot to headlight , the whole lights go off for 3-4 second before the pilot + headlight turns on again

What can be the problem its just a 3 month old bike.. please help.

that means at 7k rpm, one can cruise at 105 km/hr on 6th gear. That's more than enough and it has more power in reserve to overtake....

I searched all india online shopping and offline shops, not got this, this comes prelubed with new chains, this is better than the lube.

This is very messy chain lube and time taking too. Go for yamalube dry lube, it doesn't mess alloys and lasts upto 800-850kms in dry weather.

Sorry to ask but is that true the O2 sensor has been installed since v2 2013?, i'm new to r15v2 with an used 2012 LE edition, i dont see the sensor near exhaust pipe's head.

Probably the washer guy had put the water jet directly to the switches and the switches are not working. Wait for a day. If the problem did not resolve apply some WD40 spray between the Switch gaps.

Well they do not do any modifications. Either you learn a DIY method or go to a good mechanic.

Thanks! I checked out the LEDs. All are US Spec. The Kick up is on the wrong side. We need UK spec, with kick up on the left side. They don't seem to have those.

Anybody read about the new Masseter tires from MRF? Masseter by MRF - Rule Every Curve

They have introduced new softer rounder tires for better cornering.
New tires for R15 include the 80/90 R17 and 140/70 R17, both recommended by MRF as optional tires for the R15. They don't make our standard sizes in this series. I checked out the tires, one of the dealers here has them, but he doesn't seem to know about the pricing. He just had the tires in stock. 1 of each, front and rear. He seemed to know that they were for the R15 as well. the 140 actually looks smaller than our current 130 probably due to the roundedness.
Also, all the videos on their webpage mainly showed the R15. So maybe its good.

Should learn it asap! But still one more service centre told me that they'll fix it for me! 🙂
And does my warranty gets void if I change the headlights? Hope it's not! [emoji14]
