They have introduced new softer rounder tires for better cornering.
New tires for R15 include the 80/90 R17 and 140/70 R17, both recommended by MRF as optional tires for the R15. They don't make our standard sizes in this series. I checked out the tires, one of the dealers here has them, but he doesn't seem to know about the pricing. He just had the tires in stock. 1 of each, front and rear. He seemed to know that they were for the R15 as well. the 140 actually looks smaller than our current 130 probably due to the roundedness.
Also, all the videos on their webpage mainly showed the R15. So maybe its good.
Yeah! They just launched it in my city's Kari Motor Speedway last week! Since it was raining the day before the launch, two of the riders fell down while cornering due to lack of grip in the wet tarmac. And most probably I didn't hear any reviews from them! As for me it seems to be good in dry tarmacs and it may be much more gripper while cornering I think so.
Wait for sometime... The reviews will be uploaded in YouTube in a few months maximum.

Oh! good to know they aren't as effective in the wet. Yeah, thats a good plan. Will wait till more reviews come in. Any idea on pricing?

Nope. Must be around the same price of our stock tyres! But am not sure.

          Hey Guys!
After long deliberation I have decided to go with the R15S. Could you please tell me as to what should I look for while purchasing this bike. I am not asking about the PDI checks. Its something that you as a R15 owner and buyer have identified that is specific to this bike. Thanks in advance!!

I damaged my oil drain bolt!
How stupid i am, i was suppose to turn it counter clockwise to open it, instead of that i turn it clockwise!!

Now my bolt broken into 2 piece, the bolt head and the outer spring which is holding the rubber O-ring.
The bolt is not available around where i live, so i had to use Two Ingredient glue, i dont know if i call it right but the glue is use for mechanic, metal etc.

I'm very worry, dont know if there is anymore damage i have done to my bike , there arent any professional motorcycle repair shop nearby.

The bolt are temporary fixed and tighten, i pour the new oil in and ride for 3-4km, there arent any oil leak but i'm still worry.

I'm going to order a new bolt to replace it, anyone can tell is there anything i should check?

Check the drain threads for damage.

              Ride safe and have fun.

No brother, I have a March 2014 R15 V2. No O2 sensor. The closed loop fuel injection system with O2 sensor was announced in April 2014 and it way over august - September before the old stock cleared and people got the ones with O2 sensor.

Its mentioned in the owner's manual. Get all that done. Pay special attention to tires and chain sproket set.

Today I was cleaning the air filter of my bike and I happened to see this device. Can anyone throw some light on what this could be.
Can anyone suggest an alternate airfilter which will last longer than the stock.

IIRC, it is the air filter breather hose. The drain tube is below the filter. Would love to hear what other members have to say.

                        Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                        The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                        THE END

Guys, I really need to set a light setting inside my fairing... Can somebody suggest me a good LED for that?

That is not the air filter breather hose, its connected to the fuel tank. Comes off easily if you lift the tank, connect it back asap.
but i too don't know what exactly it is.

So here's the new R15 spotted testing in indonasia. As per news it has USD forks, ABS, All LCD meter.
Apart from that it has completely new new body panels, rear footrests, mirror, tail lamp etc..
only things they kept from old version are frame, engine and swingarm.

from the pics it seems the front tyre size is now 110 since the forks are changed and the clipons area looks wider. Since there'll be a weight increase we can expect a bump in power output too. News say around 20bhp but i think maybe 1bhp more than current one.

Doesn't it look like the Gixxer 250? The alloy wheels are a perfect match , consoles look like the ones from gixxer 150 sf and the tail light look like the gxsr 1000 inspired ?!
