i see plenty of adjustable clutch and brake levers (i dont need to replace the front brake lever but might as well do so) for R15 in ebay, does anyone here know if those are legitimate stuff ? there's hardly a review of these things in the internet.
Moxi has/had a 3 way levers for R15 2.0. Those levers were adjustable, extendable and foldable (i.e during an unfortunate event of a crash, those levers would fold inwards and avoids getting snapped, Well atleast that's the theory!) Adjustable levers should be kept as a standard feature in small capcity bikes too, because everybody has a different palm size.

A friend of mine had those Moxi's 3 ways on his R15 and loved it. It improved riders's control on the bike and oh boy, it surley looked cool! But later it got snapped on it's edge at it's third fall! And if he'd have tried, he'd have got the clutch lever extender alone for fraction of a new Moxi lever's price.

But now it is tough to find those Moxi levers anymore. Yet you can get a better CNC built 3 way adjustable levers on aliexpress for around 2500 to 3000 bucks! The advantage of getting it from aliexpress is that you can choose the colour of your levers, extenders, adjusters, and calipers to your own likings! Just make sure those levers would fit "2013 Indian R15 2.0s" buy asking the seller that question before you order and then leave a colour request as remark while placing the order.

I'd always recommend getting a 3 way lever becasue another friend who got Moxi's "Adjustable only" levers for 1100 bucks broke it within a month, The chances of ordering another new lever get's reduced with a 3 way lever.

Same here.. but I think it is not the lever handle itself but the weak threaded part of the joint where the clutch cable and lever assembly joined into.. since that is a part having upper and lower part set to hold the clutch cable, may be those assembly become open because of wear and tear or by the impact of any crash..

I got a moxi. Generally speaking its well made and its held up well for ~2years. The feel on the lever is better than stock. The brake lever is about perfect but the clutch even at the closest setting is farther than i need (still better than stock though).

Try replacing the clutch cable first, my clutch becomes hard after 7-8k kms and replacing it always makes it butter smooth again. cable costs 80/- approx and with labour charge, its around 200/-.

the clutch is smooth, it's the distance between the lever and palm-rest which ends up giving me sprain in the left wrist sometimes if i'm stuck in slow traffic for more than a few minutes...the actual clutch and clutch lever response is perfect.

                .
The same thing happened to me on Last Monday and I never thought of the clutch cable and was wondering what else it would be.. and I had to travel 100 kms on friday night way back home from company. Thankfully Nothing happened and I was planning to check it. But the next day while I was riding to my cousin's house 15 kms away, in the middle about 7 kms suddenly the clutch lever got free and the cable broken. There were no place near to get a new cable. So I tried riding the bike in 3rd gear to the service center to get a new one. When I reached there, they said they have spare but the mechanic is not available and busy with some job.. so I had to replace it myself.. thanks I always keep necessary tools in bike.. got some Grease on hand but anyway saved my day off getting stuck in the middle of the road..

I have done around 6500 km on odo. I have changed my clutch cable on September. I don't know whats wrong Yamaha's Clutch cable, it broke today again. Changed it again hope this one stays a bit longer. By the way i am not a rough driver. Even i drive smooth this cable broke off twice in 6500km.

Is this normal, cable breaking this often ? Because this is my first bike having no experience over it.

Has anyone got an aftermarket seat fixed on the stock seat. I believe stock seat is good only for city ride. On long rides my butt starts aching after 150 odd kms. Have been looking at two options that I came across. Ride on air and Redlineplus sofarider. Anyone got any feedback on them.

Once i rode the bike without clutch 30kms in kozhikode city in heavy traffic, each time the traffic stops my bike died. And if you engage first gear from neutral the bike simply dies, you need to push the bike upto 5-6kph and put in gear and whack open the throttle in order to move. this happened 10 times or so, i hated my life that day

After that horrific day, i always keep a spare clutch cable in my backpack if i am going out of my hometown. And usually i replace the clutch cable at around 7-8k kms to be on the safe side.
Why it happens? well, i believe its because of the cable routing, the cable bends really sharp after the cluch lever, this bend wear the cable fast.

Yeah I also thought about carrying a spare cabe.. but my worry is if we roll the cable to put in the bag, will it cause the inner wire to get bent hence to wear out easily when installed.. or there should be a way to carry it in straight as it is.. anyway it's better to have one extra than loosing a day..

I'm was going for 15k service this Sat.. but was searching for answer before it. P.S. My fork oil has not been changed (I think that is the reason) but when I went for 12k service they said it was only written in manual but is not a necessity.

Its normal, changed my fork oil recently the sound still exists.nothing to worry about its common.

Does anyone know what would be the cost of tool kit? I bought the bike from a friend and didn't get the tool kit.

Btw, bike completed 23K kms mark and fork oil or any clutch/accelerator cable has not been changed. Is it necessary to change it after some time/kms? Both front & rear forks seems to be working fine.
