    Now my question ?

If we replace the inner tubes , do we definitely need to replace the fork oil seal and fork oil ?
You cannot remove inner tube without removing seal and piston.
Tube alone is 7-800rs and oil is 120 for 2 bottles.
Seal as someone said will cost less than 500rs. I am not sure about prices.

Dont cut corners and try to save money. Change anything rubber and fluid.

Thermo units of 2012 v2 n 2015 v2 are different. if its a 2012 model it was 750 something when i last changed it . If its a 2015 v2 then its cheap. I wouldnt play around with these as its a one time change and one rarely goes wrong. Replace it with the relevant model.

      Its a 2015 september r15v2

Hi all, i'm new to R15 so i have some question.

I bought an old R15v2 (2012) two months ago, the ODO is 25.xxx KM, i had change the oil, chain drive system, oil filter, air filter.

Since there, i had run about 2.000Km, i notice that the cooler fan never running (in city heavy traffic, or long 300km a day), so i wonder if the engine heat sensor is broken or not?, and someone please show me where it is so i can test it, i have some electronic knowledge .

The second question is when the engine running, i can hear some whisle, like the noise of old CRT TV, not the sound when turn on the key. I guess that sound is of the fuel pump, and that mean it need to be replace?

Please help me, i'm new here, thanks!
P/s: I'm from Vietnam, the bike is unofficial here, so the yamaha services center denied it .

let the bike idle for 5 minutes or more, if the radiator fan didn't start by then, keep it idling. if the fan starts working you'll hear it. otherwise wait for a red flashing light on speedo, it means your fan isn't working and the engine is over heating. shut off the engine immediately. check previous pages, this problem is already discussed here a lot.

check the fuel level in the tank, if the level is low, you can hear the pump, i'm not entirely sure if that's the sound you're hearing though. anyway always keep the pump submerged in fuel, to do that always keep more than 2.5lts of petrol in the tank.

Hey guys I have a little problem with my front suspension. Whenever i go over any speed breaker or potholes they kind of squeak. I checked the sound was coming from forks when I applied front brakes on pushed the forks up and down... My bike is only a year old and has run 14900kms. I'm was going for 15k service this Sat.. but was searching for answer before it. P.S. My fork oil has not been changed (I think that is the reason) but when I went for 12k service they said it was only written in manual but is not a necessity.

I have this same behavior with my new R15S and based on other's response here on same query of mine, this is normal for new R15 V2.0 and R15S. Nothing to worry. The front squeaks on speed breakers and that's it.

                Regards.

+1 to this. Normal for all R15 to make squeaking sound on speed breakers. Nothing to worry about.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

                      • Headlight adjustment

Found this picture in internet. There are totally 3 screws to adjust the headlight beam. First i thought only one that is up/down which is visible to us is available. Can someone shed light on how to adjust/what is the purpose of other 2 screws under the panel ?

The top right and left screw are used for vertical and horizontal adjustment. Not sure about the last one.
