      1,000 or just 1 km? If it's 1,000 then it's fine!

          • Cone set issues

I own a R15 v2 2011 model....my bike had cone set issues one month ago it was giving a vibrating sound on around 5k rpms.I took it to a mechanic he replaced the cone set one month ago.He told come 3-4 times at a time period of 3-4 days and get it tightened as it does not get fit in one shot. The time when he changed the coneset and after that when i took a test drive i saw that the issue was not resolved and then i told him so he told it will get resolved. The catch is one and a half month ago when it was giving the vibrating sound i showed him and he tightened the cone set there after it was giving a tak sound when it goes into a pothole and when i brake and after changing the coneset i have the same issue it's giving tak sound.Plz help me.Thanks in advance

Your front end bearing job is in fact not done in the proper way to be precise. There shouldn't be any "tak" or "kat" sounds from the front end of the motorcycle while braking or going over a pothole or speedbreaker et cetera. If you hear such sounds, either the front fork T stem is slightly loose, you can get it tightened, by tightening the lock nut and check if you hear the sound again. If you hear the same sound(s) again, your coneset job mustn't have done the right way, you "might" need to redo the installation. Proper greasing and proper torquing are imperative, else you end up with a botched up job.

              Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

              THE END

The fuel indicator is integrated with the pump.
No way to check apart from removing the pump.
