though I rode it only for like 4000kms or so ,but it was a really good bike .It handled best in class ,smooth as butter and boy what a poser it was ..
But it wasn't swift enough for me ,and no blame you cannot expect much from 150cc. Still it was fun .
Now it has been decided against my will that having a parked bike with 1000₹ litre motul 300v eating dust is of no use. So my cousin is claiming it forever ..I wish I hadn't given the r to him for few days ,little I knew it will never come back.
Its not that I ride it much now ,but still letting go off a bike is as painful as it can be.
Only my beloved ns and RC are now there to assist my ass. Out of which ,rc also stands a lot nowadays ,with my family having a eye on it to do similar fate to rc just as they did to r15.
Will miss you r15 ,you're going into safe hands, we will meet ,but from now on ,it will be monthly ,quater yearly meet.
The Baby R has left me forever
Thats sad man, its never easy to part with a prized possesion(atleast on the handling part). i am sure the rc and ns will fill the void(may be they already have ).

Facing issue of tak tak noise during cold start and decelerate . I checked the tappets clearance but it was ok.then i checked timing chain tensioner. When i insert a small screw driver, it vibrate a lot and lot of jerk can be felt at screw driver at running engine. Then i over tight the tensioner softly , tak tak sound goes completely. But after 2 days noise came back again. What can be problem. Is tensioner faulty or timing chain ?

          Help me out guys

Drain the oil away properly and bleed the brakes, then refill again (make sure you don't overfill)
You sure they didn't mix dot 3 with dot4?

Hey guys this photo above shown is not correct the idle screw for the v2 is located on the left side of the bike(shifter side). To gain access open the left small rear panel near the coolant reservoir and flash a torch into the opening u will see the 2 two throttle cables near which u will see a ivory coloured flathead screw this is the idle screw. The owners manual also indicates this screw as the idle screw.!

I'm sorry for being a jerk and if my immature behaviour ever gutted your sentiment towards your bike(r15) or you in person. I was a huge jackass back then but Time changes everything. Still I may exhibit some past traits which are difficult to overcome.

Thank for your support or sarcasm (it's 2 in morning and my mind seems to perform at its lowest during this phase of the day)
Please that was a thing in our thread ,for our biker fraternity(200ns to be precise) so I would except you not to make a fuss of it everywhere. And yes was the answer, got it couple of days ago.

Ps: I didn't loved r15 ,it was like you get a geometry box in a huge decorated package . Everything from physical perspective, the looks ,the brakes ,the handling ,the cornering was mind blowing, but I'm kind of guy who is crazy about power ,and that was the one thing the baby r extremely poorly performed. It is my thirst for power that made the addition of 200ns and RC200 in the parking garage (cannot go beyond 200cc right now ,family rules ) .
So everyone have a great day/night with a pleasant ride with whomever (Man or a girl, I don't judge you ) you wish for , so that you can enjoy your passion of biking to its fullest. Life is short ,make it count while you're at it..

                            or ex-r15 to be precise.
                            It left you for good.
R15 is not only a geometry box with huge decorated package but it also has got sharp compass, a good scale, a great lean of a protractor.
You can never compare a yamaha's engine with a bajaj/ktm.

Losing a bike is sad thing for a biker ,no matter it fulfilled all his ambitions or not . I may haven't loved it ,but it was sure a good acceptable thing to have .
I respect your opinion ,but like i said , Im a power hungry monkey . I like to have best of all the world's . For me , despite having all the checks(physical) and not having the kick(power) is simply blasphemy or half a package. I respect that you love your bike and consider it as supreme ,buy I would also like you to respect my thoughts, AFTER BEING A OWNER OF SAME BIKE (with two different ones as well at same time ) that I didn't like the package to its full.
Please don't be a yamaboy. It was never about Yamahavsbajajvs ktm, so don't take this into that direction, I was talking purely in terms of engine output and the total wow factor related to it . I never said bajaj or ktm better than Yamaha, in fact the best bike that can exist for me is R1(getting you in exact 5 years) ,so it is simply not about the company, but about the performance of a specific product on some specific parameters.
still you need to get out of bajajcrap zone, just because some products were bad ,doesn't mean the whole company is cheapster, you are trying to compare decades old company (yam) to just a decade old company(bal) ,who thrives to offer the almost same thrill to those who cannot afford the same riding on japs. They are the ones who broke the monopoly over market and forced all competitors to come up with their best at lowest prices they can so as to level the bar and in the end, benefiting Indian consumers.
I would like to end this endless debate now ,will be lurking here if I found something interesting to drop by ,or someone tags me or if my cousin breaks up something in the R, to ask you guys ,my biker pals.

Yes the R15 may not have lived up to your standards.. It has been around for 7 years now.. When it arrived it was the best available package.. The so called powerful machines came 2-3 years ago?? If one is against comparison between companies, neither should you compare the bikes from different times.. If Yamaha brings up a bike now, I am damn well sure it is going to be better than all the opponents.. Technology gets updated with time.. For the power machines to come here and burn the roads it was the R15 that started the revolution.. I am just glad that R15 even though older than most bikes today still holds a strong place in comparison
                                Thank you
