I just left a comment on seeing you post here! Its funny to see the way such people argue! Their assumptions and man!, they just launch a new product into the market in their imaginative worlds and educate the same on social networks XD
He must be convinced by my comment at least!
If not let us no spoil his assumed-to-be R15 V3. And wonder when will people educate themselves to wear a helmet while riding if not the other gears even after so much of awareness is being spread!

I got mine just 3 days after booking.

Booked it on sunday (9 march 2014) paid 4000 for booking, got my bike on tuesday evening.
I went to showroom Wednesday, paid in full and got my ride.

but it varies from place to place.
contact your dealer for booking amount and time of delivery.
          All the best.

Yeah, it might depend on order backlog & supply.

What's the manufactured date your ride?

I have to look that up bro, I'm at office right now.

but the showroom where I bought it from is the largest in our state,
All the different showrooms in our state get their bikes from there. So everyday thousands of Yamaha bikes come from Delhi to Dehradun showroom, and are transported all over the state from this showroom, so that maybe the reason that I had to wait only 2 days.

finally i got out of my lazy ass and went to a sticker shop to stick some stickers on my bike that i'd planned to at some point several months ago, lol...motul, monster energy sign, deltabox and yamaha racing....meanwhile lost my pendrive there so one or two other stickers are left (yzf and another yamaha tag), for which i will go again maybe next week or so assuming i dont lazy out on it again..will post pics later.

Hey that's good !! I have seen many people riding their bikes without helmets. I even asked one of them why take risk when you're riding a two-wheeler, the guy was incidentally riding a R15 only so the inquisitiveness. The answer I got 'Helmet pehen ne se mujhe koi nahi dekh payega'...TRANS: How will people will seemy face if I wear a helmet... Even I have seen people riding with pillion but without helmet and that also on superbikes luike R1, GSX-R 1000, GT 650R etc.

Here in Pune, wearing helmet, both rider and pillion, is not mandatory and which should be made mandatory as soon as possible.

BTW, installed the metal braided brake lines of P 220. Braking increased considerably, say by atleast 25%. Also the spongy feeling is now gone and I have more courage to do the cornerings now.

                              Guys,

What is the average life of an R15 v2.0 battery? I've had mine working fine for the last 3 years, but I am just wondering whether I should get it changed now.

Why try to fix something that isn't broken ?

Mostly, batteries start giving up after 2-3 years. But if yours is running fine, then why change it. When it starts giving you trouble, change then.
