Think it costs around 300 bucks to replace that bit of plastic.

I believe you cover your bike every day and remove it before ride. Or else it happened due to regular rubbing of something. It happened to my bike as well as I used to cover my bike every day n remove before going on a ride. Tht particular part is not that expensive, I think it should be around rs 130 or rs 200.

it's at about 1.4k on cold engine. which is acceptable according to the manual.

before taking it to the svc with all the suggestions given by you guys on the less obvious/usual reasons for such a low FE, i have decided i will test it out over a full tank-to-reserve once again before going to svc..bike's gonna be sitting idle for 12 days anyway since i am out of station at the moment. thanks.

This is what happened after a small crash I had... Notice it only a few days after.
The fluid is dripping but very very slowly and only after I ride.
Please don't tell me I've gotta replace the radiator :P

^^ This can be welded, just find someone in your locality who specialises in this.
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Did you spot the dripping point??? If not, clean the radiator fully and try to find it by idling the engine. It will be mostly from the rubber Hose connecting to the radiator on LHS side ( Below Radiator Cap) .. If it's from the radiator, i dunno what to do... Maybe you can weld as said above. Imo, it wont be from radiator is most of the cases. The rubber tube would have come out slightly due to the fall and when the engine runs, coolant becomes hot and coolant pressure increases. So, coolant will leak even from a tiny gap due to pressure.

                    Hi guys,
My ride's second free service is coming up in a couple of weeks, and along with the service the bike will get its second coat of teflon coating. Now my question is -
Can I use a wax polish when I wash the bike at home after the teflon coat?
Can wax polish be used over teflon coating? Or teflon does the job of polish?

The thing is My bike stays in sun all day in my office parking and I've heard the sun destroys the paint. I want my bike to be shining like new for years to come. Please Suggest.
I would like to thank my legs for supporting me, my arms for being always by my side and my fingers; I could always count on them.

You really should park it in shade! The sun can fade out the paint and bake the life out of the tires. Just 6 weeks of sunlight had turned the plastic on the RVM from black to gray on my bike.

I am completely aware of it brother, but I dont have any choice. The office is quiet small and we park in front of the office, there are no trees, nothing. The other alternative is on the side of the road, but if I park on road side police will impound it within first hour of parking. can you please suggest anything.

Get a cover for your bike.... Looks like that's your best and only choice.

You are over possesive for sure. Color has to fade in some years.
Chill and enjoy the ride. If you think too much than you won't be able to live life to fullest.

It's a bike and it has to be on road and under sun. Just keep your bike wash and coatings on timely regular.

Light colored (white/cream/light grey) bike cover can help to some extent. Park your bike and after half an hour or so (to let the engine/exhaust cool down) put the bike cover on top.

                                yes bro,
Its my first proper bike and the first thing I bought with my own money, so I am a bit over possessive.
                                sorry about that.
I will try not to over think about it.
