When r15 is ridden like rocket ,the digital meter shows speed as 21->24->29->>34( sort of indication ,means digital metre skips digits )

But in case of p200ns it goes like21->22->23->24->25->26( very fast ,but the pulsar digital console never skips any speed digit)
I have experienced same many times ,someone can confirm this if they want ,pretty strange hehehe
Anyways ,have a great pleasurable ride.

Its in your head, that there is something strange, digital meters are bound to work like this.
Moreover if you will accelerate slowly you will not find such "strange" thing but when the R15 runs fast and higher acceleration, it jumps gradually in its reading.

Anyways avoid such comparisons, there is nothing such strange in it, its in your head.

IMO, 19k km is pushing it a bit too far (unless you are a soft rider and the chain is kept in impeccable condition).
cant categorize myself but iam definitely not a slow rider i brake hard use engine braking and also accelerate hard ( but not in bumper to bumper traffic) have gone through numerous sets of pads and two sets of tyres in my 36k kms of riding but however the chain lasted a whooping 30k kms after which i changed it as the front sprocket was gone and truly I never used chain lube or cleaner just diesel wash for cleaning (every week or 500 kms whatever comes first) and gear lube oil for lubing the chain (put 2-3 drops every night ) though I dont say that this combo is ultimate but it has worked flawlessly on my machine

Guys a lil help needed, my v2 won't start.
On switching on the ignition, the engine malfunction light, the orange(?) light glows, 1 long blink & 3-4 short blinks.
What does this code mean ? Has the fuel pump gone kaput ?
The bike would crank but won't start, as if the fuel supply has some issue or there's no fuel in the tank.

          Thanks

36k is more than required, which means that gear oil is a good lubricant for R15s chain, well diesel is what i never tried. I always used petrol to clean because the SVC guys in nagpur used petrol to clean....and they charge just Rs20 to clean chain......well there is an option to get it done by Motul cleaner.....that is charged Rs100.
According to me the problem of chain with my bike is because i spray the chain lube without cleaning so that has Freezed with Dust in it.....its because i dont have main stand....
i have asked near local shop to get me Rx100 main stand complete set.....he said it is for Rs300....i will be getting it max by tumoro.....No one here is ready to clean the chain with diesel near my place.....i would be taking it to SVC this weekend for 6th service which is last free service.....and ODO shows 10500 kms.....

            My last query,
Can you guyz help me with the list about the required changes at 10k kms like Fork oil change and Air filter change etc....because till 5th service i just had oil filter and Engine oil change.....nothing else changed.
and how much those repair and replacement costs?. I need to have everything done according to the manual. i will be going through manual but still if u people can give me some Suggestions.
            Thanks in advance

Listen its your call whether to use gear oil at all and i think the sae90 gear oil is much thinner to be used as a chain lube as a result it sprays a lot and flings of off the chain quickly if you are going to use gear oil then do try to get bl90 gear oil from bharat lube it is used in the gear box of auto rickshaws and is quite thick and so does not flings that much. Morever it is damn cheap a ltr of bottle costs around rs 120 and will probably last 2-3 months but the downside is you have to clean the rims and the number plate regularly
so if you are ok with these then do try out the gear oil.else stick to your chain lube....

Try to start your bike with the lights on if the display flickers and the sound of the starter motor is lower than usual then your battery is too low in voltage try to recharge it and see if the problem persists.
From your description that a long blink coupled with 3-4 short blinks it seems that there could be a problem with your air intake system ( error code 13 or 14) however you could start your bike under these problems. However as your bike fails to start it could be problem with your crankshaft position sensor( eeror code 12) better take it to svc and get it checked with a FID..

Most of us know it man. The RTR series also doesnt skip any digits while the CBR's , rest of the Pulsars, Ninjas, Katooms all skip. Its just the way it works. Nothing new for a comparison.

My bike produces a "clink/clank" type sound when I downshift. What could be the cause of this? It was much smoother before. The upshifts are real smooth, no problems there, but I get this sound only when downshifting. Is it the bike or me who is not downshifting smoothly?
