Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
First of all as a 'best practice' measure, if you are opening one fork, then the down time should be used to open other fork and service both of them. Oil in both the forks should be replaced. Reason? The oil viscosity of one fork is now different from the oil viscosity in the other fork as one fork has fresh oil while the other has oil which has done 'x' kms of work. Therefore, the dampening rates of both the forks are actually different.Originally posted by Princepaji View PostActually he is Lazy,
.i found that fork oil was changed on on 1 fork.....as only 1 fork has oil near its oil seal and other one was as normal with little dust on fork oil seal ....
Why don't you ask the gentleman in question about it.Originally posted by Rakesh Rok View PostJust checked a comment that he had made in some post and saw there, . . His last post was answered by you, so I thought you might be knowing, nothing else. . .

Exactly---I do feel difference when the road has some bumps....its not balanced.....Originally posted by abhimanyu31 View PostFirst of all as a 'best practice' measure, if you are opening one fork, then the down time should be used to open other fork and service both of them. I just called him and said that you did not changed the oil which is making problem to me and i want to check that......so now my question is, how can i identify that fork oil is new or old.....??????Last edited by Princepaji; 12-04-2013, 05:28 PM.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Yup, that's a sign that it hasn't been done right. Don't be surprised if the front unexpectedly washes out during cornering or braking over a bumpy surface.Originally posted by Princepaji View PostExactly---I do feel difference when the road has some bumps....its not balanced.....
This is India & this is how things are. All you can do is suck it up and get the work done on both the forks again. But this time make sure its done under your supervision.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
My bike has done the second service now.
Odo - 3474 Km
Ownership - 1 month
FE
Last fill up - 40.7 kpl
Overall avg - 40 kpl
Nothing much than oil change, chain cleaning and lubing and greasing. They put up a tuflon coat, the bike is now glossy. I mentioned about the gearbox issue, they seemed to have rectified it. The transmission is much smoother now. Also, they have adjusted the tappets, so I'll be riding at subtle speeds till the adjustment sets in.2013 R15(Sold) | 2014 Duke 390 (Sold) | 2022 Adv 390 | 2022 Ninja 300

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Service has been so far so good.Originally posted by siddharthsure View PostNothing.. Just to know about their service.. Should have asked in that post itself.
I think they are a direct fit atleast that's what I have heard. Even I'm thinking of adding one to mine.Originally posted by GP Racing View PostThanks man,
But my main question is will the RX100 stand directly fit or i'll have to some welding/Grinding job on it to fit ?Last edited by Ezilkannan; 12-06-2013, 12:21 PM.2013 R15(Sold) | 2014 Duke 390 (Sold) | 2022 Adv 390 | 2022 Ninja 300
