First of all as a 'best practice' measure, if you are opening one fork, then the down time should be used to open other fork and service both of them. Oil in both the forks should be replaced. Reason? The oil viscosity of one fork is now different from the oil viscosity in the other fork as one fork has fresh oil while the other has oil which has done 'x' kms of work. Therefore, the dampening rates of both the forks are actually different.

Why don't you ask the gentleman in question about it.

Exactly---I do feel difference when the road has some bumps....its not balanced.....

I just called him and said that you did not changed the oil which is making problem to me and i want to check that......so now my question is, how can i identify that fork oil is new or old.....??????

Yup, that's a sign that it hasn't been done right. Don't be surprised if the front unexpectedly washes out during cornering or braking over a bumpy surface.

This is India & this is how things are. All you can do is suck it up and get the work done on both the forks again. But this time make sure its done under your supervision.

My bike has done the second service now.
                  Odo - 3474 Km
                  Ownership - 1 month
                  FE
Last fill up - 40.7 kpl
                  Overall avg - 40 kpl

Nothing much than oil change, chain cleaning and lubing and greasing. They put up a tuflon coat, the bike is now glossy. I mentioned about the gearbox issue, they seemed to have rectified it. The transmission is much smoother now. Also, they have adjusted the tappets, so I'll be riding at subtle speeds till the adjustment sets in.

I think they are a direct fit atleast that's what I have heard. Even I'm thinking of adding one to mine.
