+1 . Looks differ from one person to other, but I have seen none that doesnt like the looks of an R15

That's what I keep trying to believe but the R15 did win the India Design Award Like the leading ladies in the movies, where every now and again there's an actress everyone likes, the R15 2.0 is of that breed of beauty
+2 .Good point, extreme sport bike users will find the CBR's and Hero's extremely uncomfortable since they want a 'sports bike'. But the guys reviewing the bikes in India are definitely looking for sit straight, go straight, go to office , come back , go for trips, come back. Each and every review says R15 has an uncomfortable, too aggressive seating posture. But if its a track rider comparing the bikes, he will say, R15 is a sports bike, the others feel like sitting too straight which nearly caused me to be taken off from the bike due to wind at high speeds.

Man, this bike has more than what you think it takes. Truly speaking, I got thumped by many R15's after 120kmph on my P220 many times, now I overtake p220's after 120kmph.. I dont know why, P220 usually differs from each other, some reaches 135 in a split of a second, but some refuses to go beyond 130. Maybe a lack of a liquid cooled engine, so there you got P200NS (See guys, no road race, just checking the speeds with friends under controlled conditions)
Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

I know it has got the potential, but neither in a short drag or a long run can R15 win over P220. I ride both of them, both bikes in top maintained condition, so just justifying it. Its correct every 220 acts different. Guide me how to upload/link videos, can share a couple of videos of friendly quarter mile drags. In long run, R15 maxed out at 143kmph, while the 220 went till 149kmph (personal experience, same road, same wind conditions)

My reply is simple , your blood and your bikes blood are the same, they dont even change even for a Ducati . (But might change if you get a Ducati for free)

Can't agree here. I own both the machines and I myself have done 145+ many times on my P220. Top reached with stock setup was 149 kmph. R15 cannot match the power of P220 no matter what. Perhaps the "muscle men" were "all show, no go" kinda people.

Lack of proper tuning is the answer. Also there are many other conditions. Mind it, 149kmph is my solo top and 137kmph with a pillion o my P220 with stock setup.

Agree with you. But yes, never try to race any R15 be it V1 be it V2 if it's a twisty road.

                Cool down guys....
I've shared what I've experienced...the top speed depends upon many conditions and one of the most important parameters is the Rider I guess...
So no hard feeling to any bike or whatsoever....

Well, I have taken my friends v1 to 145kmph in triples actually (that is me, pillion and a nearly 70kg bag with him, LOL). It only had a Daytona ECU or a custom ECU(I dont remember actually) , but I remember he put it just to cut off the rev limiter. He had sold his bike now .. The bike was completely stock than the ECU ..

Samarth, the top speeds mentioned by me were tested on National Highway 2 which is like a straight stretch that meets the horizon ahead. I do not drag race or street race. That was tested when I was on a ride with some superbikes. Had no other option but to rip the bike. lol. Still if you have noticed any off-topic discussion here, feel free to delete or edit my posts. Thanks.
