Hey Faraz! Cool pics and nice location! I too got the same bike last week! But yet to take it out on long rides as Office keeps me busy.

No wristpain or backpain! You're lucky, dude! I'm still getting used to the riding position which is somewhere between a superbike's and a commuter bike's position.

Nice little review. Yes, R15 2.0 is the best in terms of looks and performance!

Check out pics of my baby R -

Replacing your stock headlights with HID’s (High Intensity Discharge Lights) will only drain your bikes battery. The stock headlights do a fairly decent job. I have ridden this beauty at night for long hours and I did not ever feel the need for a H.I.D or white lights at any point of time.
Sorry cannot agree with you here though I completely agree on the remaining. I am using HID on my ride that too I use dual beam. HIDs consume around 3-4 amp to heat up for the first 5-8 seconds but right after that it starts consuming even less than a Halogen for your information. Refer to the HID thread for more information. Check out the below pic and see the difference.

Thanks dude ..I was actually confused about teflon coating. Haven't heard that many good things about it. But the SVC guys were telling that they would provide warranty for 1 year

Between, please anyone one from Mumbai, suggest me from where can I get tank pad.
I've asked the SVC guys and they have only black regular one worth 1000 bucks.

                • Had a good amount of tailwind today, managed 146 kmph on the speedo, tacho needle at 10,000rpm in sixth gear...My V2 is completely stock, no performance mods.Had she hit the 10.5k redline, the speed would have been around 148 or so..

Cool pics bro! I think the White and Red LE and the blue are the best colour themes available for the R15 (personal opinion) and i have no wrist pain or backpain as i am used to riding an Apache since 2 years and pretty used to riding in a sporty position..!
Will post some more pics soon as i get time!..till then cheers!!!

Sorry Bro, should've read more about HID's before posting a review..you are right, they consume less power...although the point i wanted to make was that the stock lights do a pretty good job and I did not feel necessary to upgrade to HID, but again this is just what i feel and every persons point of view differs from another according to what they expect from the bike!

Dude u can get a tank pad for less than 700 bucks. I got the black one for 700 bucks. Which SVC did u ask?

Where do u stay in mumbai cuz i can show you how to do polishing & waxing for your bike if u want. Its better rather than paying 800 rs to them. & u will learn a few things about keeping your steed clean. Lemme know.

Possible. They reason why I had to install HID the very second week of my bike's age was my previous bike. Pulsar220. Amazing lighting. After that it was very disappointing with R15 lighting. So did the needful.

Yes! 50th Anniversary LE is the best! Black would be great if it was like R6 Raven/Black and Gold Edition(my dream bike)!

It would be interesting to see someone modify their black R15 V2 to look like this (gold wheels, brake/clutch levers, front fork). :P

Hmm.. I get it. Apache has a very sporty position. I had Pulsar 150 UGIII before this and everyone knows that its an out and out commuter bike. Even the gear and brake foot pegs will be horizontal and located in a convenient/commuter position. With old straight handlebars.

Hopefully, will become one with my baby R soon! And yeah bro, lookin' forward to some more pics.
