I desperately need a paddock stand for chain lubing, is there any other way to get it done?
Not the two man method where one pushes it ahead and the other lubes the chain.

Will be getting the registration done on wednesday, iam in still lookout for tankpad, i saw the ebay.in link but dint find them good.
paddock won't be needed...the SVC guys use a red coloured temporary main stand specially designed for the R15...there is space provided beneath the bike for the same reason..ask the dealers near you...should cost u within 1k...check out this link http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...2-0-a-139.html

            • After so many its and buts, got the coating/polishing done on my bike at Thane-SVC.
They have used 3M paint protection film and charged 800 bucks for 3 services( so 2 more to go) .
Quite reasonable though not on profit side...

Between guys, whenever I start my bike, there is a sound coming like a spring is hitting a metal piece but when in motion it is vanished.
SVC guys told no issues, but just wanted to know if you've noticed it or not.

yes its detachable...its is made for maintenance purposes...and is just temporarily installed to keep the bike in an upright position for coolant level check..engine oil level check, etc etc...it just requires a 'ROD' to hold it in place...the link i provided you with...he used an RX135 main-stand which costed him 190 bucks...so depends on you...do some research in the local market...you may find what ur looking for at a cheap price or approach the authorized dealer and he'll provide you one at the cost of 750 - 850 bucks...

Thank you Suraj, just wanted to ask...Is the rx135 stand a good fit and is it stable or wobbly?... though i'll just be using it for maintenance purposes and it shouldn't be a problem as long as its holding the bike upright!...i'll be getting myself one of those soon enough along with a good chain lube...which one do you use?

It will be perfect for maintenance purpose. I use Tribocor, 300Rs for 500 ml... works good and will last long.

                          • Engine Overheating Light again

the engine overheating light came-up again this morning just after a ride of 4 KMs and waiting at Bumper-to-Bumper traffic for a few minutes only. I could see, hear & feel the radiator fan running.

the light came up and stayed for 2-3 minutes then it went off as if nothing has happened.

what could be the reasons fellow riders? any inputs?

                              • The coolant level is quite alright. just had a top-up last week after this problem had arisen for the first time.
and moreover, the bike is 4 months old only and has gone through the first 2 servicings.
