Iam looking for something bright that can illuminate enough. Stock bulbs are good, tested them yest after alignment.
I though these might look cool (Black R15 Blue lights) and give some additional illumination.
I return home from work around 7 or 8ish and is mostly the NH-4 (23kms). So iam on a lookout for something bright, it should also not be costly or else i would have gone for HID lights.

If you know anything please let me know too.

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Sounds good. Assuming the same qty as others (500ml), works out cheaper than Motul and marginally costlier than Tribocor.
(Motul and others need a respray at approx 500 kms)
Have you used it? Can you mention the brand and availability in other parts of the country?
Using Tank bag does leave scratches, do what it is mentioned by Eshan and use a cloth below while placing the bag and be cautious when you remove and place the magnets. Go gentle, it should be good.

About lubes, Eshan is mentioning Yamalube which forms a silver coating on the surface. OKS is good for 300 - 500 Km, Motul is good for 500 - 700 Km and i felt the same result with Yamalube as well. So value for money is definitely Motul, totally IMO.

Since you are here now i guess ver 2 thread should have all the knowledge in the world. :P. Hope transition from P180 to R15 has been an experience.

Why don't you go for philips 55w, it would give you better illumination, cost 90 bucks and no battery issues.

i hope you are okay and were wearing safety gears. As for the parts is concerned they would be around Rs4000 for the Kit of V2. But double check on that in your Yamaha Service center. Please ride safe and get accustomed to the immense braking of the bike.

Yes the oks thingy works perfect. Motul a bit costly again.

Oh a 55w for 90Rs which one? Please tell me where i can go and pick it up. What about battery drain and is that a Plug and Play stuff.

Plug and Play mate, my friend used it only for right side <high beam> part and faced no issues. I feel it should not go wrong if you are one among who ride mostly on high revs even if you replace both.
i do not remember the exact name, got it in my P180 an year ago. AntiqueBlue got it changed recently, you can have a word with him. Else let me know, i'll check.

Good that you havent got any serious injury..Hope you get back on the road as soon as possible..
If only the fairing is damaged, then its gonna be 800-1000 cost but if headlight assembly is also damaged then its another 2500 bucks.

Can you tell me in total detail about this upgrade as I'm occasional ripper and occasional cruiser...more so a cruiser..so how exactly will it affect the battery and any precautions I need to take care of...I use both the bulbs for low beam also so replacement will also be for both of them...

Thanks guys, I sure am lucky its not a big injury and the accident was a miscalculation on my part...@Eshan - totally agree with you bro, safety gear like helmets are a must and a rider should wear it religiously! since i'm on a weeks bed rest couldn't get out and get any pics but here's a pre-accidnet pic with all the highlighted damage on the bike!

p.s - can crash guards/bobbins be installed onto the R15??

Dude, even my limited edition R15 got in to an accident few weeks before.
But it wasn't me, my friend crashed her.
even my bike got the same damage that you have mentioned in the picture, and limited edition fairing parts are goddamn costly. Right side panel alone costs 2400rs which is just 800 for normal edition, and it took 10 days to get available with service center.
I don't see any scope for installing crash guards, just have to be very careful with our bike. Ride safe bro, get well soon
