I have removed both the tyre hugger and the saree guard. And it looks kickass. I have a sunset red bike. It makes the bike look a lot more sporty and moreover u get to see more portions of the tyre, rims and the chain which looks awesome. I have put joels exhaust as well last week, so the exhaust being shorter in terms of length exposes more portion the right side of the wheel as well, which i love.
And regarding problems riding during rain, i havent yet been out in a proper rain yet so... but i have gone out couple of hours after it was raining , and what i notice is that the mud gets splashed onto the tail portion, just the bottom part after the brake lamps..
Guess it should be a lot more muddy when riding in actual rain and at higher speeds.Comment

Regarding the cutting of mudguard,
after cutting, not even a single drop will reach your back if you travel under 65 kmph(approx.).
All the mud and water will be attracted by the tail section without reaching the rider or the pillion if any.
I'm riding in continuos rain for the past couple of weeks, daily commuting about 40 to 60 kms.
To all, cut the mudguard and pull out the absolute look of the bike. Ride safe.Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

Got my bike!!!
Finally got my bike yesterday. Was so excited that the whole day was thinking of it.
Got the 50th anniversary edition color. It looks awesome!!! attached some photos of the beast!!

All LE guys - Considering the sheer volume of R15 sales, even if LEs will form a small % of the total sales, in terms of absolute no.s it will still be large. So no wonder you will see a lot of LEs around

the YRC in bangalore is open to all the yamaha bikes. right now all are V2 owners because only V2 people came for the first ride and we have certain rules for the people to join us for the ride. but why dont you people make a pune wing of the YRC? follow us in the link in my signatureOriginally posted by einZiel View PostTo all pune guys

The group was initially made for any Yamaha riders and still holds to that decision although coincidentally the call for forming a group was responded by R15 v2.0 riders only. YRC in Bangalore is a small group consisting of 9 R15 v2.0 riders who continuously interact and communicate to enjoy their rides with frequent rides.
