          -in city with lot of gear shifts
          -or outside run with constant 60kmph
          -if both at what percentage shall i maintain

          can someone redirect to the page no. where how to lubricate? is posted and i wish to know what brand to use for lubrucation. Its raining in chennai, think my machine needs lubrication.

          always maintain rpm under 5000k,with occasional outbursts to higher-rev range,but don't redline yet.
          the sweet-spot of gear changing is 3.5 k-4.5 k for mileage.
          for performance shift at rpm higher than the rpm at which r15's torque peaks.
          lastly if you have already messed up run-in,don't panic,modern day engines are reliable enough.

            There is no hard and fast rule for that, but it's recommended that you should try to ride in all the gears as much as possible to open up.
            And also avoid riding in constant speed for prolonged hours, vary the speed and change the gears.

            About lubrication, I use the Motul one, but there are many other brands available in various rates.

              I see that your questions have been answered by others!
              According to me, treat the manual as the Bible!(if you consider that you dont know much) and the words of seniors here like those of the prophets!

              If I'm not wrong, under the manual specified run-in period/RPM, my Red used to hit 60 kmph on 6th at 5K RPM! Might be I'm heavy , but you shift to 6th at 70! That's something not according to the manual. Please correct, if the speed @ gear # @ RPM is wrong.

              Its definitely a yes , I enjoyed the ride a lot after returning, but the single day seemed too long.

              Now listening to all the prophets and riding her under 60 kmph, but the aerodynamics is too gud so i have to have a eye on my speedometer all the time.

                • I had to change my bike's battery to 5A recently. The 3A just didnt cut the cake with the HIDs in city rides. Sometimes the bike just wouldnt start.

                          Low beam is amazing.. Sometimes I mistake my own lights on the street walls to be some other car's and try finding them on the RVM.. High beam can never be good with a projector but it is fair enough for city or highway use..

                          Took it from a friend from Faridabad. He runs a modification shop.

                          You might know this but again just a clarification.. There is nothing called 4.3k or 6k.. They are 4300K/6000K/8000k/12000k and so on.. K stands for Kelvin and that represents the color of the light.. And these are 6000K but I am soon gonna move to 4300K setup on the projectors..

                          Stock 3.5 amp Tata Green battery. No change to battery. Runs absolutely fine. No issues at all. Just make sure the ballasts are not cheap ones (cheap ones consume more power than rated or required hence killing the battery slowly) and either the wiring or the ballast has a relay. That reduces the load on the battery. I have an in-built relay in one of my ballasts and the other has a relay in the wiring.

                          And mods to get this fit ??

                          Nothing. All steps were captured on the link I had posted to my FB album. Just open the glass, fit in the projectors, fit back the glass and done.

                          • Somebody help me. My 1 month old R15 v2 is 110. Today i tried to open her up , it would reach 100 in 6th gear @ 7k rpm. After that till 8.5k it will reach 112 after a lot of time. Any ideas of wtf is wrong ?

                              There is nothing wrong, buddy It all depends on at what RPM you shift the gears. Start shifting gears from 3rd - 4th, 4th -5th, and 5th - 6th, at around 8k+ (9k - 10.5k) RPM and see the difference

                                did you mean 110kms on odo? or 1100 kms on odo?
                                how were you riding? ripping it or gradually accelerating ?
