It will work cause my mechanic did it when he changed my handle bar rod two times

He didn't even have to heat it up?

Why would he have to heat it up when he can just unscrew the allen key to open it

Dont the bar end screws have loctite sealing agent when they are tightened from the factory? I just tried what you said, but it wouldn't budge, looks like either I have to take it to the ASC/mechanic or heat it and try again.

I didn't know that cause my mechanic unscrewed it in front of me.

No, dude, I'm planning to get bar end mirrors. I will post the pics when I get them and install them.

Won't that be a hindrance in traffic ? Just sounds a bit odd to me on a sports bike. Personal opinion though.

I've seen them on big bikes as well like the Gixxers and CBRs, but to me they suit more on nakeds than sports
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Well my stock mirrors are protruding too far out. Already had to replace them twice. I'm not into looks, but rather the efficiency, I feel bar ends provide better view than my stock mirrors and they won't be protruding as much as the stock mirrors, so it won't be a problem. I will put up a short review once I get them.

Got it, the ones I had on my v1 felt ideal to me, never had any issues. And it's the same I have felt with all sports bike I have ridden till now. So it's just kind off difficult to digest, but I'm also in favor of efficiency than looks. Good, do let us know where you procured them from as well.

Thanks a lot Ivin. Waiting for these to arrive at the dealers so i can buy. The confusion begins now to choose the color. I like all the 2014 colors (except the golden rims one)

A lame question.. but why would one need to adjust the throttle and clutch free play in his/her bike?? and what would be the difficultly level to adjust the clutch free play in r15 2.0 cause it's gonna be my first DIY in a motorcycle.

Fortunately, I don't have any confusion, since I like only the golden rim one.
