Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Dont the bar end screws have loctite sealing agent when they are tightened from the factory? I just tried what you said, but it wouldn't budge, looks like either I have to take it to the ASC/mechanic or heat it and try again.Originally posted by ghostofsparta View PostWhy would he have to heat it up when he can just unscrew the allen key to open it

I didn't know that cause my mechanic unscrewed it in front of me.Originally posted by Ezilkannan View PostDont the bar end screws have loctite sealing agent when they are tightened from the factory? Got eye catching, colourful bar ends?Originally posted by Ezilkannan View PostHas anyone removed the bar ends from your bike? I tried but the bar end is moving with the allen screw. What is the proper way to remove the bar ends?
if so just post few pics

Won't that be a hindrance in traffic ? Just sounds a bit odd to me on a sports bike. Personal opinion though.Originally posted by Ezilkannan View PostNo, dude, I'm planning to get bar end mirrors. I will post the pics when I get them and install them.
I've seen them on big bikes as well like the Gixxers and CBRs, but to me they suit more on nakeds than sports
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Well my stock mirrors are protruding too far out. Already had to replace them twice. I'm not into looks, but rather the efficiency, I feel bar ends provide better view than my stock mirrors and they won't be protruding as much as the stock mirrors, so it won't be a problem. I will put up a short review once I get them.Originally posted by R-series View PostWon't that be a hindrance in traffic ? Just sounds a bit odd to me on a sports bike. Personal opinion though.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Got it, the ones I had on my v1 felt ideal to me, never had any issues. And it's the same I have felt with all sports bike I have ridden till now. So it's just kind off difficult to digest, but I'm also in favor of efficiency than looks. Good, do let us know where you procured them from as well.Originally posted by Ezilkannan View PostWell my stock mirrors are protruding too far out. Already had to replace them twice. Thanks a lot Ivin. Waiting for these to arrive at the dealers so i can buy. The confusion begins now to choose the color. I like all the 2014 colors (except the golden rims one)Originally posted by Ivin View PostAnd the wait for some is getting over

Fortunately, I don't have any confusion, since I like only the golden rim one.Originally posted by tusilal View PostThanks a lot Ivin. Waiting for these to arrive at the dealers so i can buy. The confusion begins now to choose the color. I like all the 2014 colors (except the golden rims one)
