I'm also looking for a perfect farewell to my bike tyres as yours, mean the perfect usage, baring the side wall tread may remain as new.

The front one....hmmmm yes looks little away from getting worn out completely, but its also important that the front to get the exact traction translated by the rear tyre, it offers equal balance and enhanced grip towards falling on the corners. More importantly it will boost up the confidence level. Its possible only when both of them are new
      Great job @Ivin

In picture you guys might feel that the front does have some life in it, but feeling the tyre gives it away, it is actually really worn down and the thread has no impression to the fingers on feeling.
I checked it out during our last ride together , after which is when he changed the tyres.

Maybe. But I had a feel that it was fading on the road. I didnt want to take any chance.
25K experience? Ok, one sentence - The most niggle free Indian made bike, Not a single rupee spend other than regular service and on wear and tear items.

Oh:what: Now I understood, it just an impression of got something left in it, by this way we can easily figure out at the amount at which the treads got worn down rather than just by looking at it & assume things, because the picture seriously hides the true condition of the tyre

PS: Best practice is to have the regular check up just by rubbing the treads, Once the tyres gone past 18k kms and to the max 25k. I'm almost getting right into that stage, but I guess I have no problem until another 7kms

          Thanks Krish & Ivin:thumbup:

very unfortunate to hear this, our country is unfit for fearless riding right from the highways to the street, its not just the animals who are proven guilty, the human was certainly proving more pathetic on the road than the dogs. But whatever the reason, please make sure you change your riding mode according to the road condition and rest is assured

I hope your safe with little injury here and there & nothing serious to the bones. Try to wear protective gears almost every time when you take the bike for hard racing or got the licence to thrill... Have a safe ride, you will be alright soon:thumbup:

Guys i'm really in need of a clarification!!!!

Had a puncture in my rear tyre day before yesterday and got it fixed! Drove yesterday to college and back home! So, Today as usual in the morning I went and took my bike and found something weird.... The rear tyre was almost flat!! So i went to college in my Dio. So here's where the real confusion is..!! Came back home and called dad downstairs and showed him the almost flat rear tyre! He asked me whether i could drive to the shop or push the bike till then, because its just about 500mts from home and so i started the bike.... removed my helmet for the first time cuz it was just gonna be a little round and i was almost sweating!! I felt the exhaust a little weird!! Like some hole has been drilled in it!! And so i parked the bike with the engine still running and went around and looked all around the silencer to find a small hole which was like about 1mm in diameter! Enquired with a friend and came to know that it was for letting water out just in case!! The problem is that there was a continuous spray of liquid from the small hole continuously for about 5 minutes It smelled like rubber... The air from the main exhaust was hot enough but this liquid felt ice cool!!! It wouldnt stop even after about 5 minutes!! Felt weird and just parked it and i'm posting this right now!!! The thing is... It didnt rain for about a month here!! The parking is wide open... no trees above or anything except four walls!!! Where did this water or thing come from???? What is this actually!!! Bike has done only 3800kms and everything is perfect... all fluids at max level!! Nothing weird at all!! Help me out guys.... Looks like i'm not going to sleep tonight!!!

Today morning i noticed this liquid while leaving to college.
First i thought petrol is leaking from overflow pipe but on closer look found that it was coming from exhaust and it smells like rubber.
My bike has done 4000 kms and i never noticed that liquid untill today.
Just hoping its not something serious as i have seen liquid coming out from most petrol car's exhaust.

it's normal..it's just water that condenses down inside the exhaust and as soon as one turns the machine on, the gases inside the exhaust push that condensed water out..the hole is manufactured in the lowest point (that is, the point that's closest to the ground) of the exhaust pipe so as to have all condensed water collected there and a make a film around the hole, and when the engine gases through it the water film gets sprayed out of that hole.

it doesnt just have to be collected rain water that got inside the exhaust from the exhaust hole outside, because, as i said, it's water that can get condensed and/or collected from anywhere...if the weather has been foggy (as in winter times), water gets sprayed out every time one starts the engine after several hours...even when the weather hasn't been cold or foggy, but just the humidity and other atmospheric numbers are such that the hot air inside the exhaust after a ride condenses down to water enough to have it collected at and around that tiny hole at the bottom...and so on...

this being my first bike (and bike experience), i too freaked out the first time i noticed it many months ago and wrote a post here..someone here then said it's normal to have a hole there and i needn't freak out..then i confirmed that more via a bit of internet research..

however, it shouldn't be spraying water for 5 minutes...usually it's just a few first seconds (by which i mean no more than like 3-4 seconds at max), and most times it's just the very instant one starts the engine and the first time the gases start flowing through the exhaust...5 minutes is too long...even having that go on for 10 seconds would be too long..

Mine is prefect for now, as I have just cleared it off 2000 kms ago, Btw this is my second time in 17000 kms
Does tappet start creeping up on a regular interval or due to the type of usage?
