Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
hey dude, not doubting 300v's goodness for our R15s, but was just taken aback when i realised there's no 20w40/50 grade of that. hence wanted to reconfirm about it here, that's all :-)Originally posted by Suresh@yammie View Post

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Something strange happened today. When I was returning back from a ride, the bike started vibrating badly(I could feel the vibes even when idling). I also felt that the throttle response had detriorated as well. Thought of taking it to the ASC, as its almost due for a service, but when I took the bike for a spin gain later today, everything returned back to normal. I have no idea what has happened
. I am gonna ride it for this week to my college and check if the issue resurfaces.

It is the bush that is used on the panels near to the meter console. It can easily fall if the panels are not re-installed correctly when removed.Originally posted by napster89 View PostHey guys, Any idea what this thing is??

Without those bushes the console panel tends rattle in uneven surfaces.Originally posted by Ivin View PostIt is the bush that is used on the panels near to the meter console. Not at all. It will cause the brake oil to leak. You have to replace the screw with the same type. Experienced hands can take out the damaged screw out and put a new screw in place.Originally posted by siddharthsure View PostOk... Can i replace it with allen head after removing??? I mean can i get that size?Ride, ride and ride.. But always do it responsibly..

Yep I got a call from Ambal motors saying sorry we can't counter sale any single spare of daytona kit :banghead:Originally posted by Ivin View PostAfaik, it comes as a pack, including Rotor petal, mass cylinder unit, adjustable brake lever, caliper mount bracket and steel braided lines and cannot be purchased separately. Things might have changed now, am not sure.
This pack, in 2012, costed a whooping 25k.
I thing Master cylinder & lever assy are of nissin

I looked underneath panels on both sides, and I can feel the bush already present there. I also found similar bush where radiator is attached with the frame. Don't know from where it fell off.Originally posted by Ivin View PostIts underneath the place where I marked in white
Anyways, there are no strange vibes even when I ride the bike on uneven surface.Me, my ride and endless roads...

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
I need a good riding jacket with good pricing
Help me with the best one, meantime not so expensive
My cousin took my R15 jacket worth 5499
Since then I decided to keep rest of my gears in a secrete place whenever he comes back
