Is Bachoo Motors Trustworthy ??
Hi everyone,
I've got an R15 V2, and I want to install the Leo Vince GP Corsa Carbon Fibre Racing Exhaust which is specifically available for the R15, in the official Leo Vince Website (LeoVince) , it's said that in India, Bachoo Motors (Bachoo Motors) is the official distributor of Leo Vince, when I called the guys at Bachoo Motors regarding the exhaust, they said, to buy the Leo Vince I'd have to first deposit the money in their bank account (which is mentioned in their website), along with my shipping details, but they would send me a bill of 3000/-,
the original exhaust costs about 16,000/- and 500/-(shipping charges), but the guys said that since the exhaust was crossing from Mumbai to Kolkata (my home), the Sales Tax people would charge extra if the bill is above 3000/-
.
This is the first time I'm dealing with Bachoo Motors, Can anyone tell me if they are trustworthy?? I mean obviously they are an official distributor of Leo Vince, BUT, I'm gonna pay them 17 grand trusting them to send an original Leo Vince Exhaust in brand new condition all the way to Kolkata and I'm gonna have a bill that will say I paid 3 grand ??!!
Can someone please share their experience if they have dealt with Bachoo Motors, please.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Both Abhimanyu sir and Sushrut sir are right, Helmets should be given extreme care. But at the same time it is practically almost impossible to carry the helmet along where ever we go.Originally posted by Sushrut View PostWhat you say is spot on. In fact I treat my helmet like an egg. But sometimes, lets say during college hours, we don't have any option other than to hook it up with the bike.
Just as Sushrut sir had mentioned, it is very inconvenient to carry the helmet around college campus. And this is what I've planned to do with my riding gears, the jacket and the gloves will go into my backpack(bought a bag that can fit the jacket). As one compartment of the bag will accommodate the jacket and the gloves another compartment will be left to carry the books.
Helmets will be securely hooked to the bike's stock helmet holder.
I think as per the method mentioned by Sushrut sir, there won't hardly be any movement to the helmet attached with the bike's stock helmet holder, hence people can't knock it down easily.
As far the security of the helmet is concerned, I Think this method won't be that foolproof to handle our Indian thieves.
Carrying the helmet around is not safe either because at times we might accidentally drop it(happened to my previous helmet already
,then I bought a new one and decided to attach it with the bike safely).
Anyhow, I won't be leaving the helmet hooked with the bike as much as possible from here on. And I thank one and all for helping me out,
especially Abhimanyu sir who showed me the importance of taking care of the helmet.Let us please leave the helmet topic here cause it's going towards OT, deviating from the thread. And I don't want to be the root cause for it.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
I carry my helmet to college and leave it in my class. It stays quite safe there. I somehow feel that taking the helmet with you is the most secure way to carry it. I do park my bike in a secluded place, infact some of my friends just leave their helmet strapped to the bikes(no locks), some just place it on their tanks and go. But I don't feel secure to even lock it up and go. I always recommend taking it with you wherever you go.Originally posted by Sushrut View PostWhat you say is spot on. Or else the helmet needs to be carried along throughout the college lecture hours and practical sessions much to the amusement of everyone. It becomes inconvenient too.

Andy_kristine , dude, don't call me sir. I'm just 21 :-p Ezilkannan, yes it is true but as Andy mentioned, carrying around the helmet invites the risk of bumping it everywhere as well as your colleagues might handle it in a rough way. Similarly, my old helmet had fallen from my hands once. Its okay to carry it along if you have to attend only a.lecture or two but handling the helmet throughout the whole working day becomes inconvenient. Even a simple thing as going to the washroom becomes difficult

Perhaps not everyone is fortunate like me to have friends who wouldn't fiddle with others' helmetsOriginally posted by Sushrut View Post@Andy_kristine , dude, don't call me sir. . This is what I and my friends do, we bring the helmets to the class and place it all in the last bench(usually vacant) or down on the floor in a corner. No one touches it, its quite safe there and when we leave we take it and go back home.

let me explain my case, a 220F, clutch plate lasted fro 47k kms and clutch cable still same at 73k kms when i sold the bike.
At the same time, a few bike clutch plate lasts 20-25k or even lesser, and clutch cable snaps at any given point of time, according to the clutch tightness you are running or how well/frequent you grease the clutch wires.
Cheers

Bought stuff from them in the same manner as proposed to you. Reliable and a lot of other members also have had good experiences.Originally posted by Rivu View PostHi everyone,

Regarding the exhaust, some owner here might have used it and would be able to give you better feedback.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!
Give your details here if you want to help your fellow xBhpian stranded in your city

Re: Is Bachoo Motors Trustworthy ??
^^^ both my bikes are fitted with Leo Vince exhaust systems that were sourced from Bachoo Motors. Dealing with Zulfi is clean and straight forward. He does not make any false promises and nor does he give any commitments that will fall short.
The exhaust system for my Ninja 300 was a one off order as he normally stocks only slip ons for the bike. Not only did he order it as a one off exception, he got the system air lifted from Italy and it was ready for delivery 2 days before he had actually committed. Ya, so to answer your question, he is reliable.Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.
