  • The only reason I haven't booked this bike till now is the pillion seat. Though most of the times I'd be riding alone, but can't just use another bike to ride with a pillion. One would obviously think twice before taking their loved ones as a pillion on this bike.

Yamaha obviously did a great job by listening to the cusumer feedbacks and by improving the looks of the bike (esp. rear side). However, I'd say that they have made a little mistake (or overdid) by lifting the rear seat too much. Even the litre class SBK's doesn't have a rear seat as high as this one.

I'd really appreciate if Yamaha make some changes and lower the rear end a bit. That'd definitely be a winner by all means...

    Cheers!!!

PS: I am a big fan of Yamaha eversince one of my family members got a RX100 more than a decade back.

First service should be done moment you are between 800-1000 kms and make sure to keep the baby in 5000 rpm, after first service take the bike till 7500 rpms not beyond that and change the oil after your odo meter shows 3800 kms. i .e 1000 kms u take first service another add 2800 kms you take second service.

      thats it enjoi

its not about speed... its about RPMs. if you are in running inn period, keep the RPMs below 5k. if not, u can change it as per your needs of acceleration, speed and mileage. lower the revs, higher the mileage and higher the revs, higher the acceleration and speed.. simple.
A crash on d road may kill d biker n d bike, but d relationship btwn d bike n d biker never dies.

Its only next to d relationship btwn d mother n her baby.

            5k means below 50 right?

Change the oil now, take a good look at the old oil, this will justify the oil and filter change, use mineral oil only, you can do it outside if you want no need to go to the stealership, they can't tell if you changed the oil anyway.

                          • Mileage

Today, while watching TV, I saw a review of this R15 V2 on zigwheels show. According to them the overall mileage figures are
                            47 kmpl
! I never expected these fig. to be above 40, with those thicker rubbers!(ya i know it depends on riding style). But still......how much kmpl you guys are getting?

I inquired with one of the showrooms in Noida and the bike is available off the shelf.
