We have to pay for others mistake I feel bad about that.
I never drive harsh.. follow all rules + all riding gears...
I went to nearest Yamaha SVC, the part would cost around 80RS and currently not available.
80??? No way... The rod below the footrest itself cost 120Rs bro. I dunno the total cost of footpeg. If you have the rod,you can can save 120Rs as it is sold separately

jealous mate, am so jealous of not having a standard cornering hangout (hang out the bike literally lol) that's consistently empty of general traffic i have to search so much for some empty corners, the ones that i frequent are however not consistently empty of people or traffic...it's more like a matter of chance for me to get an empty corner around ****ing allahabad...

Suresh@yammie - according to some people who went to the auto expo, 2014 doesnt seem to be the year yamaha will launch the R25, yamaha has apparently been very silent about saying anything about R25 in the expo...late 2015 seems more like it in the opinion of some professionals who run and write bike related websites..

aditya_YZF-R15 : Luckily in chennai we have couple of butterfly flyovers, I never ever miss those so called kickass cornering opportunities (during noon time when traffic is less) and absolutely feed my cornering hunger
The riding footpeg produces lovely little"kirrrrrrr " noise when it kisses the road

To all those how-to-run-in-the-bike-oh-it's-so-confusing. Here's an advice.
Read and follow the OWNER's Manual. Keep it simple.. Old School technique will do more good than harm your bike

Guys, Can Someone let me know the Service Intervals as Specified in the Service Record? Finished 1st Service @ 1k kms and odo is now at 2400kms! The ride feels a little rough and I feel that I'm stressing the Engine when i ride above 3.5k rpm! Engine running on Shell Advance Ultra from 1k kms by the way!

The second service will be at 3k kms or 100 days which ever is at the earliest. The 3rd service will be at 6k kms or 170 days.
Just go on adding 3k kms. May i ask why have you switched to FS oil right from 1k kms???

Cheers

Well, Most of my rides are long... 100- 120 kms straight... Daily average is around 90-100kms.... Felt the radiator kicking in frequently and the engine was feeling stiffer and rougher.... Never ever redlined the bike.... Just tried for a top speed... but I didn't want to go near or above 9k rpm so slowed down after touching 130kph! This happened just once... Gear shifts are normally done at 3.5k rpm and crusing speed is around 70-85kph or 5k-6k rpm! Switched on to FS Shell and things got way too smoother. And also when i drained the oil at 1000kms, The Yellowish colour of Yamalube was still intact... Thought it would have blackened but nope! Thats it!

This will be clearly mentioned in service manual.....Since your engine is new and it does need the run in period to get over, and yes couple of long stretches will surely be handy to clear the stiffness in the engine... But don't go for fs straight away... Try to complete 3 services ( 6k) then go for motul fs 300v or 7100 accordingly..
