superficial issue - i will be sticking a "yamaha racing" sticker on my R, but i can't figure out where can it be pasted properly...the fairing design is such that there's not a lot of big flat space to stick a big sticker like that that will go with the flow of the design (unless i take a pretty small yamaha racing sticker, but i dont want it to be that small)...anyone got any ideas or something ?

    any suggestions on levers. ?
no man, dont really know of several lever options myself except that daytona levers should be fine (someone talked about it in this thread long time ago)...

i think there's another rider in this thread who recently posted about installing smaller levers (front brake and clutch i believe)...if that person is reading this, he can maybe suggest you something.

Guys, Anyone with wider tyres than stock here? And what could be the max size to fit at the rear without any modifications? Just curious...

My stock tyre is far from getting worn out still. but I think of going for either michelin / pirelli 130 80/17 or 120 80/17 but I find it difficult to get tyres in the brands that I mentioned above.but these sizes are available in ceat..
You need to remove the wheel hugger accordingly ( remove through the monoshocks if needed).. The tyre sizes that I mentioned is most likely can be fit with half wheel hugger (you need to cut the half portion)

What do you think about these for the rear! Michelin Pilot Steel 140/70 R 17 and Michelin Pilot Road 2 180/55 ZR 17 It just looks great! Is fitting this possible?

No bro sizes that you have mentioned are extremely ruthless for the bike and its cornering, acceleration and handling will surely get affected:banghead:

Upsizing the stock tyre is always a matter of concern.... You will get the awesome look from behind (already r15 v2 is a masterpiece in 360 degree angle) instead you end up paying the price with expense of cornering, acceleration and handling... stick to 130" with more aspect ratio:thumbup: mind you its not the normal mrf stock tyre, its much wider and bearing the modification that I said earlier. You can opt for it. Hence this will satisfy you in all aspects

                        Beside the twin lamp,
smoked windshield or the under cowl.... Hardly any place to choose from, unless you take off some yamaha's original stickers that sounds wierd though...

Okay, One final query... What about sticking with the stock size but going for other brands??? Like the Pirelli Sport Demon 130/80-17 M/C TL 65H (M) SPORTD?

No way.. I guess the swing arm assembly would hardly accept any tyre size other than stock profile, unless you try to bend it to increase the gap, which I don't feel is a nice idea. Also, the chain drive will not be perfectly linear with bigger profile tyre.

exactly, hardly any place on the fairings to choose from, unless one takes off the original yamaha's stickers which i dont want to, or if i go for a tiny little yamaha racing sticker which will be plan B.

Arvind...Stock tyre size is 130/70-17 62p... What I told you in my first post is 130/80-17 which is exactly you mentioned in the above post and this tyre is bigger enough to bring smile in our face..don't worry. By the way where you get this size in pirelli...
