Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Hello Guys, Yes Thumbs Up to Yamaha for making "perfect" bike. Completed the Goa IBW ride with a friend, and R15 v2.0 didnt give me a reason to complain. Yes of course it was a long ride and all the fellow riders here are aware of the saddle on our bike which can tend to give you a saddle sore. As they say no pain no gain. Here are some sneak pics of the rides will write the Travelogue soon.
My Ride
Abby's Ride
Entry IBW
Anjuna Rd.
Bikes catching some breath....
Total kms driven..
Will keep posted on complete Travelogue soon...Last edited by Eos; 02-04-2014, 02:49 AM.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Wait, when you say tik tik, is it like a sound of some sort of compression of a metallic part? or is it a different sort of noise? You could try and lift the bike with a jack and rotate the back wheel with your hand and see if the sound comes, to narrow down the location. Confirm if its the front or back wheel. It could also be that sometimes there's grime stuck between your brake pads which cause that. You could clean that with a well angled water spray between the pads.Originally posted by napster89 View PostThanks man.. Now I can sleep with peace of mind...

I tried doing this exercise. There no such sound with the rear wheel. I guess its with front one.Originally posted by hatebreeder View PostWait, when you say tik tik, is it like a sound of some sort of compression of a metallic part? or is it a different sort of noise? I was not able to do the same thing with front one by myself. Time to visit svc.

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
i meant the entire meter was changed around 5-6k kms under warranty. BTW a trip meter counts only upto 1k kms and resets itself after itOriginally posted by Arvind Sibi View PostAre you talking about the Trip Meters or did you change up the entire Speedo Console around 5-6k?

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Thats bad... But considering with your other bikes, This one hasn't given much of a problem to you, Or has it? Just curious because i'll be having this for 4 more years from now!Originally posted by black asp View Postyup had been a good journey with her but now unable to ride her much as my other bikes have cropped up severe issues will be completing 3 years this october with her

Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0
Don't take your bike to any local mechanics at least till the warranty period is over or the free services are over. Take it to the authorized svc.Originally posted by napster89 View PostGuys, any suggestions for good mechanics for R15 in Pune.
Monarch Yamaha at Tilak road is a very good svc. Many xbhpians recommend that svc, or if you live in PCMC area then take it to Kamla yamaha.
Cheers
