One friend installed Duke 200's both tyres recently on his V1 which is fitted with V2's swingarm and daytona kit. As the rims are not wide enough to give the wider profile, they looks a bit more wide and bit more rounder. As per him cornering has improved as now bike leans more easily into the corners.

Took those buggers one full month to get RVMs for a freaking R15. I am done with them. These guys got nothing in stock and they are very lazy. I didn't even get a keychain when I took delivery. Sairam Motors gave a couple for free when I serviced my bike there and they know how to treat a customer. I'm going to do my future servicing from there itself, besides I'm thinking of doing the next service myself.
I got so fed up with JMB that i did the very first service myself... Bought the spares from Sairam! The Spares section looks awesome! Those wall decorations with headlights and stuff though.... Had a nice experience there!

But for me nearest ASCs are bikerz and Raj Yamaha. Horrible experience with both of them, but Luckily one mechanic in Raj Yamaha is well known person to me he takes care of my bike

Hmmm... how sure is he about the cornering aspect? Sure its not pseudo effect? Going for a broader tyre may seem like a simple swap but it has profound effect on handling, stability, braking and acceleration. And the effects are not positive most of the time.

Yeah maybe in long run he will be able to analyze pros and cons.

Dude, stupid me... It was just the chain noise for which I was worried.. never had an open chain bike...
Apart from this, that guy from svc also noticed tappet noise which he resolved instantly. Just in front of me he opened the engine head and slightly adjusted the value. Never had such fast service.

The calipers are gold coloured, the footpeg supporter is redesigned.
Thats all I can see as a difference from the current model

Hardly any pro dude.... Look and little more grip on the surface (arguably)

                    Cons:

Known cons are handling, stability, breaking, cornering and acceleration....., while unknown cons are almost countless:banghead: Duke is entirely a different platform with higher capacity, higher compression ratio and more thus acceleration is more despite of having woping150" tyre.
R15 is artwork of yamaha don't go for the stock tyres of other bikes.. and it has certain uniqueness which cannot be comprised

Sexy.... Good to see gold colored caliper and alloy and not to forget the background behind the bike (moto gp) where yamaha rules:thumbup:

oh my, i always felt a bit too white and too less blue in my 2013 racing blue, and imagined a racing blue scheme something like this 2014 one as the kind i'd have preferred...now it makes me jealous that it's actually officially going to be like this from now...it even has white rim tapes i have been looking for

Midnight black looks cool with golden rims and graphics.
Blue on racing blue could have been looked better with little darker blue.

Told you! And one stupid question... How do I find if there is any tappet noise from the engine

oh right, totally forgot that haha..however, the whole special or limited edition fairings etc setup costs about 9000 both sides...

anyway, just after posting my previous post it occurred to me that since in the coming weekend i am going to superficially pimp my bike up with a few label stickers (yamaha racing, YZF, motul and perhaps a motogp logo (above the "special edition" sticker that's already there), monster energy logo and #99 in red), i might as well just ask them to print some plain blue stickers and paste them on some of the overtly white parts that i'd prefer having some more blue on them...hoping the whole thing doesnt cost all that much and that i dont mess up my bike's graphics haha.

if only i could find a shop around here that does rim tapes..well to be honest i havent really tried finding one all that much either...
