And also check for the rear.. I think rear disc pad might worn out in few kms as well , better to change both at a time because you already done 10k+ kms... Both will cost you around Rs.2200 approx

Here in Chennai its 468 for front and 700 for rear and totally 200 for fitting!!

These are my first set of brake pads front.

Second set of brake pads. Even though there is some pad left it was not so efficient in braking and that creech sound started coming. So changed it soon.

You still got ample amount of pad left there as far as I can see. Dont know what the above people are telling.
The prices above are old, the new rear pads costs just above 1k and front costs around 700. You could find old stocks too.

Hope everybody is doing good here. Kuntal, Ron, aditya, Ivin how are you guys, One YRC ride pune-banglore meet up YES-CAN-DO right ?
Aint going on rides lately. The last goa ride and thanks to the horrendous yet 60kmph capable goa > belgaum stretch had my delts and nape crying for immediate attention and that was more than a couple of mnths back. . Short Lavasa rides are very much there. Straigh to the point Planning to get levers, need inputs guys wrt type/brand/cost/color. Any idea how is the daytona levers ?
                  Updates from the bike.
                  1. time to change the spark plug. Gonna get the stock one itself. Proved well in adverse conditions. so will stick to it.
                  2. The hid ballast somehow managed to slip n hang loose from below the headlight. Wrapped it up with a masking tape. and some thick foam sheet between the body panels and the ballast. secured
                  3. HID's working absolutely fine. Still think I need to adjust the Upper beam right side headlight a little towards the left.
                  4. Now a days I like to keep that puny red needle upwards of 6K in any gear. It's fun that way.
                  5. tried various petrol bunks. The best is shell . got a whooping 52kmpl tank full. I noticed a peculiar thing about the shell fuel. Something to do with the density may be. It always and every time fills up to higher level than other bunks for the same amount of fuel. Say 500 bucks worth of fuel will switch on 3bars but the shell one shoots up 4 . Just an example. not the actual indicator . Hope you guys get it. Let the posts role. any technical updates know hows and stuff IN lately!

I suggest you go with brake fluid instead, change with 2 years of your last change.

Just saw the pics you have posted and your packaging is of August.
Well prices are getting revised every quarter and since you was of Aug'13 you were damn lucky to get it in cheaper price.
Present price of rear brakes is 997 and for front is 712 bucks buddy.

been fine mate, how have you been ? havent really been going on regular rides myself either on account of the cold outside...although today the cold was suddenly very less and weather was decent/comfortable for riding fast so just came from a ride with a couple of kickass cornering and some other decent ones that couldnt be done any better/faster/deeper on account of, as usual, people or vehicles on the way or nearby...gotta be one of the best feelings when the tyres slide under you a bit whilst deep lean through a corner. @blyzee must be happy reading this, just yesterday he wanted me to go for ripping rides no matter however cold it was outside :P (but it wasn't really that cold today)

dude why only your hid ballast keeps getting loose and hang from under ? :O

yeah, except 1st and usually also 2nd gears, i too keep the RPMs above 6000 for the most part...absolutely love getting my ass power-pulled the way it does post-6000.

also, i dont live in or anywhere near pune or bangalore thus no YRC meets for me.

                            Good One.
wrt HID ballast. The thing is , the mech had secured it well but thanks to my jugaad karne ka kida. i had the wiring taped the other way round which made the ballast a bit loose from it position. So the dangling
                            any suggestions on levers. ?
