Query i have is " I understand we have got the radiator, any idea how to check the coolant level" and secondly i havent got any Manual with my bike "Do anyone has the manual online or an PDF format which will tell what part we have at which location"

      Appreciate your reply on this

i was very happy when i got my bike delivered. but i noticed an error i.e., their is a bump in my front disk (break). so when ever i ride my bike
it makes "kis kis" sound..the same i showed to the mechanic at the service station..he slightly banged the disk (with hammer) and did some sand paper work. still the problem is not solved. later he convinced me that it will be ok after 1st or 2nd service...till date i am facing the same prob(problem not solved yet....all these happen on the day of delivery..since only bike available so i took it)

1st service Patny motors (full satisfied except disk problem)

2nd service chrome yamaha service center, Near Narayan guda, Hyderabad

                  this people are really great....

                  1. when i asked for engine oil they show me 4 different engine oil containers (all empty) & at last elf oil container....indeed these ppl are carrying empty containers to the first floor and filling it with some oil (i dont know which oil)...but charging the customers MRP of container & taxes.

so i brought a motel 15W50 oil on my own and gave it to them....they poured it in front of me

                  2. untrained mechanics are doing the service...for removing the tank cover..the guy unscrew the whole tank ( on even covered the petrol hole... left it open,i went and covered on m own) ....one mechanic is doing FZ bike and simultaneously he is giving the orders to the untrained mechanic(totally strange).....and the head mechanic... i dont see him any where around....supervisor got no idea whats the procedure and how to manage the staff...

                  3. the worst part is...they lubricated the chain and other parts with some oil..rather then the sprays (used in 1st service)

                  4. though its a free service (2nd)..i brought the oil myself(after seeing the oil change mechanism at the service center) they charged me Rs 50..upon asking why? its for oil change sir.....this is shit

                  5. over all my bike which is in super condition (only disk plate problem)....screw up by these guys.....

i don't understand..what sort of service center is that...never saw a service center filling the empty engine oil containers...untrained staff.....lack of supervisor.....unhappy (cant see a welcome facial experience ) head mechanic.....i know bajaj service centers are the worst..but yamaha got some reputation & values (japs & international company)...this kind of experience cant accept...

i meet with some people (customers who gave their bikes at the service center..all unhappy customers again returning with complaints after service) at the service center..none recommended this service station (but my bike was half done..so help less)

i hope yamaha will address my problem

please LET YOUR STAFF KNOW THAT....they are working for yamaha ....they wont own the company...so they can happy replace the fault part rather then convincing the customers / making customers rome behind the service stations

Hey, please try out the Yamaha Showroom in Ranigunj, Hyderabad. It's srinivas Motors. I serviced my R15 for 2 years I stayed in Hyderabd with them. Never had any problem.Mechanics were excellent.Parts were always there.Chain spray used to cost me 100 bucks.I also used to purchase chain spray bottles from them.I bought my vehicle from Patny motors. After the first service I never went back to them because I realised their service is not going to be good and they never had parts.
Yes, I have seen GOD. He wears the no. 46 and rides a Yamaha errr Ducati :)

It has great handling, best cornering ability.

Keeping the basics right, give your body some time and it will find the most comfortable posture.
Basics being most importantly, the elbow bend (do not "full-hand" the bike; that's the reason for the wrist & elbow pains) and the back-arch.

                              IT'S A DELIGHT.

Thanks guys, you helped me make my decision. I got my Baby R on Monday, and since then I've ridden it whenever I could. It is simply Awesome

The SVC people told me to check coolant after 10000kms. To the best of my knowledge you need to remove the fairing to see the coolant level...
