  • Re: Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0

^ I learned riding a motorcycle on a Pulsar 150 (2008 model). Since then i have ridden other bikes (150cc and lower) but somehow nothing ever felt as fast or powerful as the Pulsar.
Now i know its because of the strong mid range and good low end torque. The Pulsar 150 didn't like to rev much beyond 6k though.
How's the power delivery on the NS? Is it similiar to the other Pulsars?

The biggest issue is that the track is huge and very fast, R15 won't cut it you need something a lot more powerful to enjoy the track.
oh, didnt know that a one piece suit is mandatory there...i dont have that either...those are very expensive and feels like a redundant purchase if one is just going to be able to do one or two trackdays in a year...those who frequent kari or chennai tracks, for them it makes sense to buy a suit that costs minimum 25-30k...

as for me, i dont see me going to be able to trackday anytime in the next few years (so no point of even thinking of buying a race suit a priori)...i was hoping california SBK school would start being held at the BIC as well from 2014 in which case i'd have tried my best to attend it, so that would have been a race track experience for me (and better than a trackday there), but it seems no plans for CSS to be held at BIC in the next few years...

and yeah, that being a big track that accomodates F1 and was supposed to be able to accomodate SBKs and MotoGP, i guess small sportbikes are too small for most of it (except some of the corners surely, and that's the main thing anyway).

Even if you are hoping to do California SBK, you will need a one pc suit. It's mandatory for tracks. Also no textile suits will be allowed. You will need a proper leather suit with CE certified body armor.

but this webpage says armoured textile gear is allowed - The California Superbike School Now in India (click the riding gear button).

interesting how the 2014 CSS schedule hasnt been declared yet...maybe having one round at BIC is in the talks (so i wish).

Ha ha ha... I controlled myself from talking just to keep this thread clean... But am so much fascinated by your immature talk.. Show off is your main aim... Your signature proves it( am jealous of your signature ) You just wanna tell the guys over here " see i got a powerful bike than yours at a cheaper price" xD i can only laugh. And none complained about you personality, infact you are the one who complained mine. But it seems you are making people understand your personality by typing like this. And the guy typing behind the screen is you exactly

I was stunned to see that ,without a pillion ,I ripped hard the r15 And the feel of power was even lower than p180 And a little bit higher than 150... I was shocked to notice the difference of 6.5 bhp by that amount..it was like the same difference between a splendor and a hunk. ..thank God I didn't brought a r15 3months ago ( even I was sitting with 1.25 lacs in a Yamaha showroom) ,ymaha should seriously make 300cc r15 ,it is full discrimination with the machine providing it such a crappy power engine.although for my little brother,it was the dream bike.hehehe, I will be using it to get new girls...but to feel raw power ,it is not the bike.
