Exactly, that's a lot of engineering put in at minutest possible places for the improvement.
Waiting anxiously for the delivery. At our place it's taking more time than usual and delivery haven't begun yet!

Do the first oil change at 150kms,then @ 500kms and then at 1000kms and then at 2000kms.Till 500kms,keep it below 50km/h,Never rev hard and be gentle with throttle. After the oil change at 500kms take it upto 80 for a few secs and then took back to 50-60km/h,Vary the speed between 50-80km/h.After the oil change at 1000kms,take it above 100 or 120 for a few secs and take it back to 70-80,This time also vary the speed between 60-120km/h(Do not ride at short stretches for completing the runin period)After 2000kms and an oil change, you can ride as you like. Guess this method is better than the above mentioned one.

Never put SS or FS oil before completing atleast 6000kms.
Dude, in the method mentioned by Joel, you need to sum the kms.
For Eg. 1st oil change at 50,
the 2nd at 150-200 (its excluding the first 50)
also the 3rd (its excluding the 150-200 + 50) and so on.

        Correct me if I'm wrong.

The method being suggested by Joel is for a total of 500 kms with 3 oil changes. There is nothing wrong with such running in. It's just that it is a fairly agressive schedule and method. My 2 cents for the whole thing is that if you are not confident about the running schedule then it's best that you stick to the running method and schedule recommended by the bike manufacturer.

Also API FS is a standard and it is not necessary that a oil that meets this standard is a fully synthetic oil. And also note that the advice that most people give about running initially on mineral oil for 'x' kms and only changing to fully synthetic oil after may no longer be valid. Many cars and bikes now come with fully synthetic oil from the factory itself.

Sorry, forgot to add: Joel was not recommending the said running in method for a stock bike. He was responding to a discussion that was taking place on another thread for his 165cc big bore kit, which incidentally runs far tighter tolerances than the stock piston and bore.
