Guys ,

anyone plz tell me how to get stock tiers for R15, its really sad that even in B'lore its very difficult to get a pair of MRF tiers.

i have reported this issue to yamaha asia office and they have replied to me and asked my phone num .. they may call today

and i also reported about bad servicing of R15 bikes by service centers.

if u wanna add something here ..plz let me know by today evening , so that i can consolidate and bash them.

Lol, even I went through the same drama a couple of weeks back. Shifted to a higher profile 100/90 (Pulsar) tyre in the end. As long as youre complaining, be sure to mention that the service centres are adding an additional Rs 1000 to the price of the rear tyre taking the total to Rs 2500 .

Yamaha dry type I understand is very efficient, less likely to absorb dust and slime, last long but also is costly compared to motul. I live in kerala and from next month onward rains would be a daily affair. I have read fellow members writing Yamaha dry type last long only if its used in a relatively dry environment. considering the price factor and also considering i would be riding in lite to heavy rain once a week at least..wouldn't it require frequent cleaning and lubrication even if I use yamaha dry type lube? In that case would motul be a better choice considering almost 1000 Rs difference in the price? please advice...
I use the Motul chain clean and lube. Have put in a central stand to make my job easier. With the Mallu monsoons, the chain will need a lot of attention for sure. In Blore, if it rains I clean and lube the chain as frequently as once every 4 - 5 days depending on how bad it is. Havent used the dry lube but I have no complaints regarding the Motul products.

Am using the same setup. Improves your confidence while riding in the night a lot !

Am lovin it
Piston rings changed at 30K only. Really I am surprised that a Yammie has eaten up the rings so early. How do you ride it?? Because getting the rings of a pure engineered machine is not a commuter's job.

hehe . my bike is one R&D bike done too many things on it in the past and it has taken too much beating . Thats the reason the rings were changed . The rings were expensive but the compression i am getting now is worth it
