I always preffer the Xtra premium from indian oil..used the same for my Karizma. I wanted to use speed 98 from Bharat petroleum..but its not easily available. so im not left with too many options

IOC Xtra premium works well iam getting avg of around 37-38 consistently and the bike feels smoother as compared to normal petrol

The compression ratio is less so unadulterated normal fuel should suffice (although higher the octane number is theoretically better). I am moving to premium fuel to check for any difference in power but don't expect much.

Just be sure you get it filled at a trustworthy petrol pump and consistently fill it from the same place.

What engine oil are you guys on ?

^ i have tested with all fuels available and noticed performance and millage improvement with premium fuels , now i am sticking to IOC xtra premium as they have some company owned pumps here in bangalore which supply unadulterated petrol .Thats my personal opinion may be incorrect.

Iam on yamalube second service not done yet
