I have no idea at all...dont know what actually causes this ..cos the bikes i have owned till now ..non of them ever had thier clutch cable torn. I guess u better get it checked from the Yamaha SS. what i assume is that the cable might be defective...cos if all parts are inspected before installing on the bike...the riding style can certainley not cause this type of occurance.

I am currently using shell super petrol. But Speed 97 has been the best experience so far. From few other blogs found that bikes with Compression ratio more than 9.5 needs fuel with octane number of 93 or more. So just wanted a clarity on it. Does any one have any info on the same..????

It is so because you are supposed to use almost exclusively the front brake. R1 DNA

I am using Unleaded fuel since I have Brought the bike. I am using Yamalube right now and I will continue using it some some more time and the I will shift to MOTUL 300V.

@navish My rear brakes had got a problem, I took my bike to the Service center to get it checked, the problem was that when they had lubricated the chain last week some amount of oil had reached the disks and made the disk less efficient. They cleaned the disk and removed the oil from it and the brakes started working as normal.
