yes i had previously fitted the automech exhaust on my machine. it sounds good but the performance went down . the engine felt harsh after a bit. i tweaked the a/f ratio but no use. i personally talked to joel joseph about all this . the stock exhaust on the 15 is already a good one. therefore no after market kit would give any serious kick. To get more juice out of the machine one certainly has to do some engine work. i learned every thing the hard way. even the two brothers kit, imported from america, will hardly give 1.5 sec improvement in the 0-100 sprint and it costs an insanely 20000. if you are spending that much for that little you could be nothing but a fool.do not buy automech stuff, it is a request. it is better to give that money to some charity.

it has become a habit. truly speaking i have some awesome clutch control. i passed my car driving test by taking the "H" for the fist time on the test day. i had ridden a car only once before that.i am trying to kick this habit of excessive clutch use. somebody please answer my question on the previous page.

Where all do I get this N-air filling bunks? (I live in south

i have been filling the normal air for the past 16 months - no problem.

        • @rookiebiker - for optimum acceleration and top speed, you need to maintain the tyre pressure in your bike. as a habit, check it every alternate day.

My offerings to the gods of speed -

          - KTM Duke 200
          - Yamaha RXZ 5 speed

Get the rear tire valve replaced and see if it helps.

So best thing to do is reset the trip meter when the F come around and then calculate approx mileage! cool!

            Thx TNT and Santa!
No re, because sometimes, F- starts even when fuel is not yet in reserve, I noticed that the console shows lesser fuel when bike is in good speed or is accelerating (my inference). Once it starts, even if there is more fuel than reserve, since the bike has to go 5kms to come out of F- mode, it usually ends up staying there. So in actuality, there is more fuel, you shouldn't calculate mileage based on this. That's why you got 46kmpl in city with some ripping, which, is possible but not probable. Best method = tank full to tank full. I got 42.6kmpl in city with this, but not normal petrol.

              • @tulinisarg: Don't ride it till empty in reserve, keep atleast half a litre to avoid damage to the fuel pump.

@All: It was the first time I used the bike the way it was meant to be used-cornered big time on NagarjunaSagar ghat section&even touched base. Heard the footpeg slider scraping&the feeling was unbelievable. This bike really is fun!

Get it checked for punctures as it may be causing the air leak.

Yes buddy just check your tire for punctures. I too had the same problem and only last week i found that my rear tire had 2 small punctures. But mending the puncture is a bit costly, as the mech 80 bucks for each puncture, the reason being tubeless tyres!!!
