I had a battery drain on low RPMs . I mean going Up hills . Will suggest you borrow a night breaker first test it only then buy it .Converting Halogen / HID headlamp setups to FULL LED.
Please fill in this survey so we can help you move to FULL LED Headlamps

Dyno Results of R15
Does anyone have the dyno results of a stock R15? I have been searching high and low for the same. I even asked at the Factory Shops if they can help me, but all I got was blank looks . They didn't even know what I was talking about
!!!. It is actually strange that none of the bike makers ever include dyno results in the owner manual. All they talk about is peak torque and power. Maybe they do not want to commit to anything. I understand that dyno results vary from bike to bike (even for the same bike) and from dyno machine to dyno machine. However, it would be nice to have an representational result as the same allows for better understanding of the engine's character.

In engineering we have a saying: "Nothing happens without a reason". It just can't be that the tyre is loosing air and there is no leak. The leak is there, its just that you can't seem to find it. Since it is is tubeless tire, the seal with the rim is very important. I would suggest that the tyre be removed from the rim and close examination of the rim to check for any dents, nicks, etc. If there is damage to the lip, even changing the tyre is not going to help.Originally posted by Rahulrulez View PostWhat's price of rear tyre?? my bike's rear tyre seems to be faulty.. It is not leak and valve is even OK.. checked at 2-3 puncture guys + service center but no fault found still pressure leaks.. It is better to change the tyre.. What's the price btw???Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.

^^ or you could also try over inflating the tyre and then dripping soapy water all over it to source the leak. My friend had a very small leak, that would eventually drop his tyre pressure every two days or so. He found it only by inflating to 50 psi, a very small puncture.

Could be that your clutch cable is loose.. Mine was, & i got it rectified (replaced) some days ago.. Its back to how it was when I had just bought the bike..Originally posted by Amrit View PostHey frnds,
the gears have become quite hard....What could be the cause???
Would switching to better engine oil will result in any change related to hard gears shift ?
Thanks...
Or maybe the gear lever isn't fitted properly.. Get is re-fitted at the SVC, & lubricated.. Should solve it..
Else, engine oil could be playing spoilsport..

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

R1-5 Rear
Guys I was recently co-ordinating with KRP delhi for getting an idea about getting the rear tidy. Got some photographs of the bike they've done recently. Its no cheap-ass road-side modification btw.
R15 swingarm with the rear disk brake fitment option, which inclides:
New Swingarm + Modification, Rear Disk Brake Attatchment Flange, Rear Wheel plus parts.
He's used a 130/80/17 rear, Michelin Pilot Sporty, which comes as factory fitment for R125 in Europe. The tyre is specially meant for small bikes/scooters and is very light+has silica compound used in the bigger Pilot Sport tyres used in R6 and R1. The tyre itself costs 4700/-.
Its FZ16's rear alloy, got thr R15's disc fitment in it. The swingarm looks similar to R125's, which they maufacture themselves.
He's quoted a pricey price but is ready for a deal if more people wish to get it done together. Anyone cares to get things done, please inform so we can get a good deal. Interested people can call me maybe and we can speak together to KRP for a better deal.

Is it always about looks? What about the drop in performance? and oops, mileage? Don't feel the mod is worth sacrificing these just to improve the looks
And I feel the profile is too high. 120/80 itself looks kinda chunky, so no wonder 130/80 is even chunkier. Should have gone for 130/70 or 130/60Last edited by hifisharu; 12-23-2009, 06:06 PM.
