recently did my first service. iam having a feeling like the bike has become a bit dull in throttle response.
Also while shifting gears i can feel a sudden jerk in the bike.
and when i drive i feel someone is always pulling it in the other direction or its like the brakes are applied and i am accelerating.
please shed some light.

Check your idling RPM, after the engine has warmed up. It should be between 1300 and 1500.Originally posted by raidenbeast View Postrecently did my first service. iam having a feeling like the bike has become a bit dull in throttle response.

I shift at 10k on the Ring Road when there's no traffic. R15 can take it happily. Don't worry about it, ride it how you like.Originally posted by akhilmuraleedhar View Posthere is how i shift my gears.(if road is clear)
1st -<6000 rpm
2nd-around 7500rpm
3,4,5-around 9000rpm
is there any problem with it? i am not overrevving, right? some friends tell i am pushing a little hard.somebody give some opinions.

you can shift even when the limiter cuts in... no problems, R15 can take all abuse you can throw, though i ideally(good roads, no traffic) shift at 9000Originally posted by akhilmuraleedhar View Posthere is how i shift my gears.(if road is clear)

I'll be getting my R15 in no time, but i heard that R15 has maintainance issues which are quiet expensive. Especially the rear disc pads and the front forks.

R15 has got a very rev friendly enigine so chillax, nothin to worry about buddy.
It depends. I have done 11,200kms & still have my rear brake pads going well (they'll last atleast 1K kms or more). My front pads needed a change at 8600kms. But yes, spares can be called 'expensive'... 1300 bucks for the rear pads, & 700 bucks for the front.Originally posted by Addy43 View PostI'll be getting my R15 in no time, but i heard that R15 has maintainance issues which are quiet expensive. There are no issues, but small pointers or checks which need to be kept in mind (like checking on coolant, chain slack, chain cleaning & lubing every 500kms) to keep the bike in 1st class shape...You get the point?? :D

if you call that pushing hard, try coming with me as a pillion
I disagree, maintenance is on par if not cheaper than any other liquid cooled fully faired bikeOriginally posted by Addy43 View PostI'll be getting my R15 in no time, but i heard that R15 has maintainance issues which are quiet expensive. Especially the rear disc pads and the front forks.

The fibre parts are cheaper than my RTRs!
Correction: Rear disk MRP is 1115, and front it about 450 odd....Originally posted by svjhonda View PostUse EDIT to add some lines to your post instead of posting repeatedly. For replying to many posts (of other bhp-ians), use multi-quote (the plus sign)...
