    Help needed

    I need help...
    I really cant see anything with my headlights on...I need to change those to brighter ones...please help me select new bulbs... will this cause any problem to the batteries,what is the wattage of the present bulbs?? What are HID bulbs actually.. how much do they cost?? And will I face any problem with my warranty if I change the bulbs...:

      Got a sms from Yamaha regarding my opinion for the 6th servicing. I replied YAMAHA N (to 54646)as I was not satisfied with the service done by orion. And guess what, in reply sms it said "service not found".

        I had a strange problem yesterday. The engine switched off automatically while the bike was running and after that it was not starting even though i tried many times. I had to tow the bike and parked it at a nearby shop and then went to Yamaha showroom to get the mechanic. On seeing, he told me that there is a problem in Engine kill switch maybe some loose connection. So he hit the switch hardly with his fist 3 times and suprisingly the bike started again...lol!!!. And from then on, i am facing the problem many times engine switches off while running and if i give one kick on the switch gear again it starts.

            Dude, why did you not give them a kick in the head?!? It's completely unacceptable for them to give a fix like that. Insist that they look at the problem properly and fix your problem. Even if it means replacing the switch gear!

              These are the pictures of my bike fitted with Stebel Nautilius horn. I kept it about 1 month back and till now i haven't faced any battery issues. It cost me 900bucks and it sounds loud enough.

                Dude, the SVC guys in my place are so careless. This happened about 6.30 in the evening yesterday, so the mechanic said to come tomorrow. When i went today they said they have many bikes, so please come after 2 days. Now, i am thinking to lodge a complaint against these people to Yamaha. The showroom itself is in worst condition, leave about servicing!!!

                    Fire a complaint to Yamaha itself. I would not take such behavior from Bajaj or any other company for that matter. Make sure they get a good whack from higher up. You paid good money for that bike and thus it deserves good treatment.

                              @andante - get the switch replaced under warranty.

                              @ sharjeel - around 6000 rpm for the first three gears, 7000 for the last three. Some people do 5000 and 6000, but if you want a lil grunt then go with 6 and 7. Also keep it below 6000 if you running in for the first 1000 kms.
