Just cosmetics I think. Tail part probably. Poser demand..

That doesn't mean I wont go get my tail section redone (if possible) if I like its looks..!

              • 110 size may be ok ,
                90 is not ok ,
Sidewall's supposed to be as low as possible for a track bike.

I had gone to a Yammie showroom couple of days back, The representative told me that it will be a Sticker Job + Some tweak in the engine + No rear Tyre change! And yeah, He didnt have any concrete news, He just called up some yamaha office and confirmed that the New 2010 R15 will hit the showrooms by Jan 1st week. And not to forget, The price will jack up by a thousand or two and not any reduction in price!!

I think using rear brake in tandem with front (with a lot more emphasis on front brakes) balances the bike while stopping (keeps it in line).

Honestly, I never tried stopping with only my rear brake. I wouldnt even know if I'm having a problem with them as I almost always use the front alone.
Yes, I agree. I'm using both front and rear simultaneously for stopping the bike. Just to check how my rear brakes are functioning, I'm trying to stop the bike only using them, only for two or 3 instances, not every-time.

I just returned back after giving my bike for the servicing @ Pearl Yamaha. They noted all my problems and promised to fix them.

Quite a few of us have the chain sound issue, & just live with it.. It doesn't seem like the chain+sprocket set would have worn out by now! Some of us here have used the stock set till 20-25k kms.. I think the svc is just fooling you.. Have it checked before you blindly tell them to replace it, else it will set you back by more than 2k INR..

Maybe there's some oil spillage or something thats causing lack of feel.. Get the disc pads removed & checked.. replace if they are completely worn out..

I'm sorry, I don't seem to know much about the other issues.. Don't wanna misguide you..

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                          • Checked out Harish's ZMA. I'm planning to install the NOS and the revised sprocketing on my coming R15 as well. There will be no need of the Daytona Racing Kit then. And all this for a mere 8 grands.
And guys is the New R15 really coming, cos i can wait for that. When enquired about the same to the Showroom Guys they simply brushed it off by saying that they all are rumours
