      thanks for the replay
1st can you explain the bold lines?
2nd after how much kms the bells and bells rubber should be change?
and the lathe method which you telling is just a temporary solution right? and i think bell rubber are available separately with Yamaha dealers, today only i asked but its out off stock now and the price you telling i.e 1400 includes both the bush and the bells?

Guys.. I am confused which one to own... Pulsar220 or R15.

Please suggest me which one to own. Am 5''.5' tall and love to ride.
A bike is only as bad as it's worst rider.

I bought my R15 last September before that i was damn confuse which one to buy, i was confuse in R15,ZMR and P220 , then i had a test ride of all of them one by one, ZMR i rejected as soon as i sat on it for test ride, P220 i rejected when i crossed 75kms/hr on it, i feel like something gonna fall from the body if i accelerate , i feel very risky crossing 70km/hr on P220 and P220 sound is very bad ZMR got much better sound than P220. and then i had a test ride of R15 WOWOWOW! in 1st gear only i got so much impressed and i set my mind to buy R15, before buying i had a long ride of 25kms on R15 and it was really comfortable i really like this beauty

              The R15
              220 isn't bad, I own one, its a torque-y beast
The R15 is finer and elegant, and a great handler too

                • They say dat during the run in period, the engine of the bike gets accustomed to the riders riding style. I wanna know that if I dont follow the run in and start ripping right from the start, will my engine give better performance than an engine which follows the run in rules. As the bike will get used to d ripping.

no its not like that power = health by riping in first 1000kms you are detoriating its health hence you may face issues in future.
ride normaly like below 80km/hr and below 6 RPM and no full and constant throttle.

                    • guys, having a real tough time trying to find out the reason behind the "rough" feel of the bike overall.. the whole bike vibrates a lot when revved above 5k and it just doesn't seem to be comfortable when revved high.. what could be the reason.. need inputs from you fellows..

p.s. chain was lubed recently, mounting bolts tightened, done ~7k till date..
after monday and tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!!

If the vibes are the most at 5k rpm or so, its a case of loose mounting bolts.

Cleaning/changing the air filter also helps.

Please describe the vibes a bit - does it smoothen out above 7k rpm?
Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

vibes are surely not because of the suspension, nope, no changes at all...
the bike is completely in stock condition..

what else could it be...i'm completely blank
