When you just manage to spend some Rs.800 odd for 2nd year annual service, it starts to make sense.

No part broke, no bulbs fused, no rattles/vibes/squeaks to speak of.

@Abhi - I believe yes. Avoid riding with less fuel.

I don't have inclination to any color. Any color will be ok for me. So, will you please tell me, which color best suits/matches to R15? I mean, in which color people are fascinated. While I see R15 on the road, I have seen blue color most but I am not quite interested in this color. Color matters or not?
So, even u aren't able to wait any longer for the new version? Anyways I lykd d white a lot at d start, and even got it booked. But now I m considering the black as it Luks quite royal and dust particles r not visible on it. At d end of the day u have to see which coulour u hv a affinity for and just go ahead and take it.

Thanks mates for your opinions/suggestions. They certainly give me better insight to R15. Now, its time for me to work out my mind to come to a conclusion fast and whip my oscillating instinct to get stable on one side

            Sheel,

I have done around 11K on my bike thats around 6-7 months old. The only issue i had with the bike was once it refused to start and i had to push start it. But that too automatically vanished at the end of the day . So you see i am a happy bunny here.

I hope to have my bike for another lakh kilometers before upgrading. There should be no issues.

But VFM part i was talking about the initial investment that one had to part away with. Apart from that its a gem.

I honestly believe its a VFM.

Where on earth would you get a LC, 4 valve Motorcycle with a chassis to die for, for just above 1L? Yes, it does pinch, but you get what you pay for.

We all know how reliable it is and there are absolutely no issues with most Motorcycles until and unless someone played with its electricals or tried to get smart by adding unwated bits.

Hope you stay with your beaut forever & keep this despite upgrading

BLUE, it's a less maintenance color and it shines better than other colors

                    Buddy,
Please find my personal opinion on R15 Shades:

BLUE - R15 - Way too Common, But Yamaha Known for it's Blue shades, It has the same blue colours for the factory yamaha Motogp Bikes.

BLACK - R15 - Too silent to get recognized

YELLOW - R15 - Not so Bright on roads, but it's Noticable by people, but for me it is also a Silent colour.

RED - R15 - Flashy, Shows the Curves of the bIke more, Get recognized everywhere you go. More appealing, Nice colur combination RED - White - Black. But Hard to maintain

THE Above reasons made me decide my colour. I own a RED baby R1

Colour is a personal choice always. Different people have different opinion about it. so just go to the garage and see all the colours live and get the one which you feel more appealing to you

                    • Go for the white LE-it is the most classy IMO.

If you wanna show off to your college chicks, get yellow or red.

If you like wearing riding gear all the time, get blue.

If you wanna take it to office, get black.

Is there any other color left?

I was impressed with red and I took red. Now I feel that I should have taken black. Blue was good with old side fairing graphics. I do not like the new design. I had seen a white limited edition with blue muffler end cap and blue handle end caps and all and it was stunning. I dont know if those are still available. Hope I havnt confused you more

                          • Guy, I rode a new R15 and I found it alot smoother than my R15(Ofcourse ) Its very smooth while going through potholes, speedbreakers where as my R15 is very harsh and gives shocks over potholes.. .I am very near to 10k KMs and I wanted to know what all should I get done during my next serivce to make my ride good as new..

                            Thanks
