yup its possible ..if u want u can do it any time with in 1000kms..but the problem is the oil would be in good condition,and the filters could be in good condition,the chain wouldnt be dry and you have to unnecessarily change them..(please check whether 1st service requires change in filters or not from manual)

The stock is bad. Definitely is. 1 HID, can easily be handled. I heard MINDA batteries have problem though. TATA GREEN if it is, then plug and play!

Guys,

Sometime ago in this thread there was a radiator pic, which has safety net at lower section. So that small rocks wont hit and leak the radiator and the pipe. Can any one confirm if its provided by Yamaha? I think ppl who has recently changed there radiator can throw some light on it. I hv changed my radiator in the 1st phase. Something around Jun.

My stock is TATA Green. I may replace it in about 6 mnth. Will keep the thread updated.

SilentKnight : Yes you need to change the filter and Oil. It's beter to switchto Semi Synthic Oil, you will feel a great difference while riding.

I had to rewire my light setup to prevent excessive battery drain due to the HIDs. And I also have an Amaron 5A battery connected to the stock battery in parallel. No problems as of now, been riding for around 8 months now

Guys, I've a Projector setup done on my r15 and when the HID is on.. The horn becomes very dull.. is there anything that I can do to make the horn also work properly?

hey i think you have got minda battery..My experience with my r15 says MINDA is not at all a good one,have charged it 3 times with in 10 months...

Hey guys.. A little advice needed for a friend of mine who isnt net savvy.. Which are better or may be similar tires for r15 cos his tires have reached the end of their lives... What would be their approx cost.. Both for front and rear.

Guyz does anyone know how to remove the firing on the top.

I.e.the matt black plastic parts on the left and right side of the bike nest to the speedo?

It has three allen key nuts which i removed but was unable to get it out .
It had some kind of mounting near the center which i couldnt figur out.
Any help is appreciated thanks.

That center mount has to be pulled off. It is just a plastic pole like structure on the fairing which goes to a rubber lined hole on the bike and latches on. Hope you got the idea!
