Get the fairing bolt tightened at any service center. Or if you have got the LnKey in your tool kit you can do it yourself as well.Originally posted by Motofreak View PostGuys, my r15 gives too much vibrations and the fairing makes noises above 6000 rpms. I have got 2700 kms on my odo. Please help
Bad man, well thank God that you didnt get any major injuries. Well get well soon and send your steed to the service center and claim insurance. It shouldnt be much.Originally posted by shrinathrao View Postwith a heavy heart i have to write this last saturday i crashed my new r15 as a dog came in my rear wheel alloys, the front nose is scratched, the left mirror is broke, rider foot peg is bent and pillion left foot peg is broke.

Even I dont know the exact part number of R15, but clutch housing is something which holds clutch plates, and the pressure plates if I am not wrong.

Hi
Hi guys! Its been long since I posted an update here.
Got my bike's 9th service done today. Odo reads 18.6k Kms.
Apart from the general service:
- finally got the swingarm removed, & greased (Rs. 250)
- chain removed & cleaned
- both the sprockets removed, clened & flipped (the teeth looked good on both)
- rear disc pads changed. The stock ones (yes, used for 18.6k Kms) still had life (atleast 1k Kms), but I didn't want the hassle of having to get it changed between two servicings.
Didn't go for an oil change as its only been 2.5k Kms since prev oil change (Motul SS), & oil still looks good.
Still running on stock tyres, & they look good with barely any signs of wear.
Also noticed some of the new prices as below:
Front sprocket: INR 310 (no idea about make)
Rear sprocket: INR 270 (no idea about make)
Chain: INR 855 (New make is Rolon. Earlier make was DID, & costed over INR 2k IIRC)
For people concerned about reduction in quality (read local vendors) of brake pads, the rear ones are still made by NISSIN. I don't remember seeing an emboss of the manufacturer on the front brake pads (new & old) though.
Hope its helpful to you all.
EDIT
@Partha & Shivanshu (& others I missed out): Sorry to read about your crashes. My best wishes to you guys to get back to good health & on the saddle soon.

My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
