Also, the RVMs, are they foldable by design? In my case the hinge at the fairing end keeps getting loose if I fold the mirror a few times! Help!!!
127 is a good speed . The RVMs dont fold . Dont try to fold it also caz the thread gets screwed. They are not suppose to fold.

He tours a lot&touring at higher speeds wears out the chain even faster. Last time after I rode from Hyd to Bangy at 120+ speeds constantly, the chain adjuster nut position had to be moved up from no.3-4. If 600kms.of ripping can do this, just imagine!
My bike has just crossed 20K kms.as you might be aware.
No, its on 1 on the stock chainset. Met him last week, when Meghan was here (same day as I met you).

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

        Ok, did not know that!

One more thing - is there any visual difference between the old and the new radiator?

yeah . i got my raidiator replaced . it looks like some cheap Chinese radiator . I feel the build quality is not as good as my earlier radiator. And visual yeah color difference some radiators are silver in color . My is black.

What chain lube does he use? and how frequently does he use it??

If your sprockets are worn out enough to require a replacement then your chain would also be worn out enough to demand a change.

Depends upon the condition of the chain. If it is loose from riding then you should change the chain as well. But if it is fairly new then you can use the existing chain too.

                      @ All
I attached a pic to show how pretty my bike is right now

Sorry for the sucky image quality, am not a very good clicker.

                            • I got my r15 last week and have completed 100kms on the bike. Things i observed ->
                              1. Great handler. Not as flickable as RTR but better on corners.
                              2. Tires make me feel very confident , so do the brakes.
                              3. Havent gone beyond 5k rpm, in sixth gear it does 72kmph at 5k rpm it feels like i am driving at a lot slower speed.
                              4. Its big, parking it is a problem. RVMs keep hitting something or the other
5.My front tyre is making a slight rustling noise when the engine is off, is this ok ?.
                              6. At 65-70kmph the fairing makes some whistling noise due to wind, is this ok ?

                              7. The gear shift isnt very smooth. No trouble as such but isnt very smooth.
                              8. I felt that the turning radius is greater than expected.
                              9. It does turn heads, looks stunning.
                              10. Also, is there a way to keep both lights on at low beam , without doing too much of a modification to electricals ?? 2 lights give a lot better spread.
                              11. The rear brake lacks sting, i seldom use it. Also , rear brake is set at an awkward position.

I would appreciate if my friends here could help me a little with the hows and whys .

                                Congrats on the purchase.

                                1-4, & 8-9 are facts. So I won't comment on those.

                                5. What do you mean by rustling noise. Can you elaborate?
                                6. The fairing doen't make any noise. I think its your helmet thats causing the sound!
                                7. If it is just 'not very smooth' then its ok. If its hard, get it fixed at the SVC. An insufficiently lubed chain makes gearhsits hard (but is not the only reason).
                                10. You can do so by just attaching a wire to both the bulbs' electricals. Search this thread for detailed steps.
