Agreed. but if you notice and compare the clutch cover and oil filter cover, its the same for the R15 and the R125, so no telling there. And the exhaust is slightly slimmer and more upswept on this bike, looking more like the SZ150 exhaust.

I hope its an R15, because these mods are what the bike needed.

Also the front vents ( in front of the rider's knees ) are designed differently.

The clutch&oil filter covers look good in matt black-hope they have powder coated it.
I think the exhaust is slimmer coz it doesn't have the heat shield on it.
Also, the angle seems to be the same (see rear footpegs)
Most of the bike seems R15 to me-the tyre hugger part is overdone, IMO.
Let's see if this makes it into production-I really wanna see what they have done to the tyres&whether the rims are bigger to accomodate them!
Also, its highly doubtful that they would have tweaked performance figures or even changed the chassis design-this seems more of a cosmetic correction, so IMO the tail should be a direct fit to the older bikes, Let's wait&watch though.

      • you can see in the pic the bolts are circled....you have to turn them for beam adjustment...I prefer standing on the road and with the high beam ON, I adjust the beam....it gives the best accuracy as you are seated on the bike..

Thanks buddy, will adjust it asap.
Need to check with both low&high beams individually I guess.

Now it makes sense-otherwise, the rider looks like a normal one. Could have been a modified bike unless you saw the TC written on it.
It does have TC written on the plate, just confirmed it from the picture!

And like "painreloaded" said, adjust the beam on the road. Make sure the road isn't sloped when you do it, and adjust both the beams. Adjust the low beam in a way that you can see close pedestrians and potholes(select a comfortable distance for road illumination, you're your best judge). For the high beam, make sure the entire road ahead of you is lit well, and that some light scatters ahead into the open space(for road signs, far illumination). And do make sure that you're sitting on the bike with your full load on it when you're doing this. Also, adjust the horizontal axis too if required.
              Sunny.

"paying an amount over a lakh for a 150 cc engine does not sound good to me because even if its a Yamaha its not worth that price."

"Whereas in R15 its hard to feel any such things(LOOKS) even after the clip-on one has to lay himself on the tank making it way to far to grab them, one cant even find a main stand in it and the indicators are out of question."

"paying an amount over a lakh for a 150 cc engine does not sound good to me because even if its a Yamaha its not worth that price."

"One can easily see a bunch of R15s & Pulsar 220s on road but its really hard to spot a ZMR and that in white its the rarest thing one can possibly see. Even after 1 yr of the launch of ZMR, one can’t make it at the 1st sight if it’s a Karizma ZMR."

"So just try being the wise man. The R15 on the other hand is quite common and in order to make it different from others you need to try new combination of colors,"

"Though the Yamaha people promise a mileage of 40-45 for R15, giving the excuse that it has way to small tyres for the same reason but brother believe me don’t expect that much but yes it would surely deliver a mileage of 30-35"

The writers requirement in a bike is to ride through a hurricane and pull a cap out of there. lol lol. Unlike a few of us who love to lean in put our knees out and come out flying outta corners with a mile wide grin on our faces.
