That you must have heard about the paddock stand. No worries on this one-use it just like any other bikes' mainstand.Originally posted by HotAntivirus View PostThanks alot for replying to my query.. I'm gonna go and it installed on my bike this monday

Oh btw, don't forget to check that the small pin on the RHS is fit properly (this applies to all bikes btw), else the shaft will keep moving&one day crack. This happened to my bike&I got the shaft replaced. Didn't cost me much I think. Good thing was I could hold the bike when it was almost about to fall.
The pin is important for all bikes. I check it once in a while after offroading.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

should i get it checked at the SS?
It's mostly nothing but the accumulation of dust in the Disc pads that cause this kind of friction. If u know it, you urself can clean it, else take it to a ss. Just a matter of 5 mins. You can chill now! Nothing to worry

Yes, I ordered it from PlanetDSG.com. Just a few days ago, actually. It came in 3 days and is a very good fitOriginally posted by zerotosixty View PostZeNash,
Did you order that tank pad Keiti online in Planet DSG?
Top quality.
I dont think it will have any probs with cornering, but will reduce ground clearance by a few centimeters ...Originally posted by HotAntivirus View PostI've read about the main stand launched by Yamaha for R15 in previous pages but I am not able to decide whether I should go for it or not.. Is there any problem while cornering? also will my bike be safe while its on the main stand?
I guess its the speedometer attachment on the front wheel.... or could be the brake calipers slightly touching the disc.... is it very loud or barely audible? If its the latter, then it mustn't be a problem..Originally posted by zerotosixty View PostOne observation while i was cleaning my bike today.. Thanks for the reply Zenash.. I might order one for myself.. I was looking at the skull (blue) tank pad might go well with my bikes color as well which is blue..
Its not that barely audible.. When i spin the front wheel i could hear the sound pretty audibly.. and i guess its the dust that has accumulated in.. Any idea how to clean it ourself. I dont want to goto ss for this..

Hmm, the disc brake disc can be cleaned by simply rubbing with a wet cloth, but the callipers, you could clean with a high air pressure canister that they use to clean keyboards etc... or maybe a proper water hosing with a pipe?Originally posted by zerotosixty View PostThanks for the reply Zenash.. Btw, Buy a TANKPAD whose color is in contrast to your Blue bike. Dont put blue tankpad on the blue bike, wont suit. GO for Black or white...
Just a suggestion. It costed me Rs900 + 50 bucks shipping. Worth the money though..
D'oh!
