Same here bro! I went there week after week and they kept saying ''we've ordered them, they are yet to come''. This continued for 3 months! I got fed up in the end and decided to go for the Keiti tankpad... no regrets

        • hey everyone.....
          i have some doubts
          1. does riding the bike with a pillion on return lesser mileage? last week i when there was no pillion i got a mileage of about 39-40.....(though i rev the bike fully everytym) n this week i just got 28!!!! i had a pillion wid me this tym around. could this be the only reason?
i always fancy riding the bike over the RED line in almost every gear, every tym.... even then my baby serves me with an average of 40 fuel economy. but this was the 1st tym i got such less mileage

          2. as i said i always fancy riding the bike over the red line....after complete revving. in the thirg gear, my speedo shows uo about 89-90 kph....is this correct or do i have a faulty speedo!
im askin this bcos in 5th gear my baby only does abt 115-120....i still ve the 6th waiting but i always run out of roads

3.lastly, i got the 3rd free service done the day b4 yesterday.....thank god, this tym the service was done well....but, as soon i started the bike and accelerated. i ve seen some smoke cming out of the exhaust. when asked, the guy at the svc said that it is normal for about 2 kms. is this normal?

          plz do reply

Hmm, Smoke coming out of the exhaust could be the water from the wash evaporating due to the heat..... I am not sure.. never noticed it on my bike.

Well, having a pillion rider definitely affects your mileage since you are carrying more weight for the same engine capacity. The bike has to churn out a little extra power to go at the same speed. Thus, it will burn more fuel and return a lesser mileage.

Coming to redlining the bike, you can do it without fear. The Yamaha engine + 4 valves are meant to handle the strains One of my friends, who has absolutely no care for the bike, takes it to 50+ KMPH in the FIRST GEAR That is a little excessive though. Dont try all that. But a speedo showing 90kmph when you redline the 3rd gear should be normal...

The bag seems pretty good utility wise. The 'idea' is excellent - I especially liked the shoulder strap part.
But I just felt that this would go well with pulsars rather than R15s (only look wise). This is just my opinion
                    Thanks,

Pulsar... Lol.... Look from the top pal.. it's approx the shape from R15. The measurements are taken from my bike itself....... should't be broad or lengthy...

                            • Hey Riderz!

Before I kick SVC mechanics a**, I wanted to confirm first with fellow xbhpians... I wanna know if you all get the same kindda sound that I am experiencing. I kindda hear a rattling sound when i rev my bike to some rev rpm on neutral.. some kind of sound that resembles kindda something being played on an open field. I wont mention marble kindda sound.. .coz as soon as I write that.. you all will mention its the tappet sound. The sound is never heard when the bike is running. only experienced while its on neutral....

                              • hi guys

recently after my third service i ve been experiencing some sort of rupture sound from the front disk....the sound increased today and i found the disk plate to heat up tremendously....

now, i immediately went to the SVC and the person incharge there said that my disk pads are worn out and i should change them immediately cos it might damage the disk plate.....even i could see the damage it created till now, the corners of the disk plate are a bit ruptured...

i have done about 5900kms till date....

i ve heard that R15's disk pads normally last till about 7k to 8k kms(just heard
it. im not sure, u guys have to say).....but svc guys say that the life span of the front disk pads is just 4000kms. is that true? and moreover they confidently asked me to check the manual for it but i dint find any......
and may i know the exact price of the front disk pads? i was told dat it costs about 500 bucks

                                please do reply
