The noticeable differences at this point are:
    1. loud horn (very loud)
    2. yellow stripes on wheels.
    3. golden color calipers.

I need to peek into the radiator of my bike and someone else's bike to tell you the differences. I will try to post a closeup tomorrow.

The Bike's really awesome man. Yellow is real cool. Congrats on the new beast.

As you say the position of the horn has been changed. Can you please upload a pic of where exactly the horn is now mounted. People like me are willing to change the horn mount area specially those with custom horns.

    Cheers

Tappet adjustment can take any where close to 30 minutes to 4 hours...
In my case a mech attempted doing it and was stuck for 3 hours and then another (and now my regular) mech came and did it in 20 minutes.
Ofcourse he was faster because the tank etc was already removed and he had punny lil straight palms!

YSC Shouldnt charge for it if its under the regular free service period... if not then it should be your routine service charge 100~150 bucks....

Edit: I thought I read somewhere that you havent clocked more than 5K KMs... so am not sure if it is really a tappet issue for you... I guess its more of your chain being loose... try fixing that ... and heck it is probably nearly the right time for you to check the valve clearance... so might aswell do taht as well...
1st two things I got done by my mechanic were replacing the oil & tightening the chain. The chain was really loose. Things have improved dramatically after that. But it doesnt have that brilliant silky smooth feeling like earlier. Maybe Im being finicky.

          P.S - Am at 4500 + kms

                          Excuse me for butting in..
Price is up by 1k (OTR) in B'lore for racing colours, as well as the existing blue (increase quoted by dealer Perfect Riders)..

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                              • Upsize piston and cylinder kits with a sensible pricing would be more appreciable IMHO!

I so wish Yamaha listens to us and does something about the upsize kits' availability just like how they heard us and changed the horn!
