  • some m*****f*****s have vandalized my bike. The left side of my bike's tank has been scratched and the paint has come off. Also a blade has been used to create a rip on my rear seat. My building's security guy, of course says that he knows nothing about it. I have decided to leave Goregaon west and move into Royal Palms in Aarey.

It is one of the most disgusting days in my life, to realize human beings are so petty and mean.

I had got the bike from the factory showroom at malad, mumbai. What should I do know? Any idea what is the cost involved?

The tank pad looks really nice on your ride..
How much does the A* cost? Which one is it?

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

I could not redline the rpm freely in 5th or 6th gear. I need to really rev hard to bring needle to right extent. These SS guys, they just opened the fairing...and try something to tight it. but no improvement. I even told them to check the tappets, engine manifold bolts. one SS guy is asking what is that is!.

what specific instruction ? i should tell them.

                  thanks
Get the tappets checked. Go to another SS.

There are 3 manifold/mounting bolts. One is accessed by removing the tank. Two others on the bottom right side. These hold up the engine to the frame. Ask them to check these.

You need an open throttle to red line in 5th and in 6th you have a very SLIM chance of red lining unless your on a slope with a really long straight and weigh low enough to get the bike upto speed. I've done 142 kph (speedo) and often do 137kph+ and the bike still wouldnt red line no matter how much road is left and on a decline. Only a few guys here might've red lined their bikes.

Unless your running a set up like Joel's don worry about not red lining in 6th gear easily. As far as 5th gear is concerned i see no problems from what you've mentioned. If you really feel a loss of power get the tappets checked.

                            Whew! 151 on the speedo..

& ripping the bike to those speeds with just 431 on ODO.. Only Yamaha can afford to do that..

well if a stock bike can do 148 on the speedo than a pimped up surely needs to be much more than 151

                                +1 on that..
Why I'm surprised is because I'm seeing 149+ on the R15 for the first time..
