          • Yeah , get the fazer fairing cos its meant for it , the mount points are all made for that.

            • saw the new colors. i think they have the rim tapes put on from factory itself.

Will it look nice on the blue color. was thinking to have it on my R15 too.

                • Tank pad help!

@All: I want to go in for a tank pad on my R15..
Was just wonderig about the fact that, in what way does it affect the paint/smoothness of the tank once the tank pad is removed (intentioanlly/unintenionally)..
Pls do chip in with your suggestions/experiences..

@Bangalore guys: Where can I find tank pads in Bangalore? I have looked at some places, but haven't found it yet..

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

I removed the Yam tankpad from my bike myself after about 7-8 months-if you pull it out correctly, it won't even stick to the tank. The sticker will come stuck to the tankpad itself&there will only be dust/faint sticker marks which you can remove with your fingers/water or nailpolish remover if it is more. In anycase, no damage to the paint/smoothness of the tank at all.
I had to replace mine with a new one because someone spoilt it, but I don't think otherwise you need to remove it.
It is a good one&covers a lot of area.
Maybe you can try at Perfect Riders-I also got quite a few accessories from them.

My little piece of advice..please arrange some other place to safely park the bike, your friends house, uncle house, aunty house etc..
I really doubt if the battery will take in any after market attachments to it.It is already overloaded with the ECU, radiator fan and all.Owners would tell you more..and frankly such after market mods like you suggest will look out of place in a R Series bike.

dude its nothing but the remote locking device like the one we usually find in cars. which helps you lock and unlock the bike from far and you can even start the ignition from a distance, now days the one for bikes comes with those utterly annoying sounds like "TURN LEFT" & "TURN RIGHT" it not even says turning right, in addition to that it also does some circus when you do the FI check. MORE OFF i might suggest not to go for one 1stly coz you have to cut through the original wiring leaving you with no warranty what soever. And 2ndly believe me you shall get annoyed in not more than 48hrs (maybe 48 sec's in my case) ,
If you still insist on having one then go for Black cat or auto cop they are renowned ones in this. or i might suggest you visiting a pulsar showroom for the reason that you shall find ppl over there doing it for the 220's where you can get it at an affordable cost, here in Nagpur at Probiking showroom a person does it for 1800 INR.

Thanks for the inputs bro.. Glad to know it doesn't affect the paint on the tank..
IIRC, your initial tankpad was spoiled during teflon coating na..
I'm not too keen on the Yam tankpad, coz I think its too huge.. I would prefer a smaller one.. So will need to buy one locally..

Thanks dude! I know about the Yam tankpad, but don't like it too much, plus I think its oversized..

                              • Had my first service yesterday, from delhi scooters (delhi).
The service was good. My chain feels lot more smoother. But had one problem. There was paint chipping from a place near handlebar (the area is circled in the image below). I told them to paint it. And they painted it wid some really cheap black paint. Thats done on coolers etc!!

Now they wont accept their fault and say they dont have the same matt finish paint. They say it's not covered in the warranty. Please help me.

Does someone knows a place in delhi where they would have this same matt paint.
And if i decide to replace this part what will it cost?
