If I understand correctly, i think its just a mark on the nut cap of the left hand side joint. I dont think that should be much of trouble but if its bothering so much you can just ask them to replace the nutcap of that joint. but again...this opinion is keeping in mind the that i understood the situation correctly

The last time I checked with Perfect Riders, they had only the Yam tankpad.. Anyways, I'm going there today for my RC book.. Will check for the tankpad too..
Otherwise kimikid has told me about a shop on JC Road (bike accessories world, IIRC).. Will check there too, apart from Orion & BW..

hey guys wanted to know something. I have a blue one. can anyone tell me a place in delhi where i can get some good stickers for my mean machine. I wanna have a sticker of "YZF R15" near the front headlight and a "YAMAHA" on my swing-arm.

Recently got a helmet to suit my bike and alpinestar gloves to match the persona. will be uploading the pics as soon as i can get a cam.

Flasher for my led signal lights

My stupid Mechanic at Paras Yamaha misplaced LED Flasher with comes along the LED flasher set / KIT @ rs2800/-. Now I am stucked with OE flasher with blinks slow compare to LED OE. Can any one help me with compltible one.

serious problem.

I have completed my r15's 3rd free service 15 days before. After this, i just got serious problem. As i have seen some time back people complained about
sudden drop in the performance.

After 15 days of my 3rd free service, my bike speed could not go above 95. at the 5th gear my bike reaches 70 to 75 k mph @ 5 to 6 rpm. At the 6th gear it can reach up to 95 K mph at 6 to 6.5 rpm. The momentum with the speed is constant and its not increasing or gaining. And i feel the visible vibration on the handle bar.

I went back to SS, they have pretend to checking something, the result is same. friends please help me here. I am from Chennai.

The bike should ideally touch 72kph at 5K rpm and 100 at 7K rpm in 6th.

I finished 3rd service in june and due to health issues havnt ridden much since. But i've not encountered any drop in performance. Its been the same if not better. Still do 137s on the straights and the performance seems to be better than it was during the run-in period. And ridden it hard.

The engine sounds grunty. Its a characteristic of the bike to get a bit rough as it crosses 6K kms.

What are your observations in other gears as you go through the powerband. Please not if your below 6K in 6th it will take some time to chug along and cross 7K and above. Does the bike red line easily in other gears.

As far as the vibes are concerned you just need to check all the bolts on the bike. Whichever is visible check it if its become loose. Hard riding tends to loosen up everything on the bike. Especially the mounting bolts. Even the bolts on the crankcase come loose. The handle bars are no exception. Even the collar-set bolt had become loose apart from so many others. Check your foot pegs too.

The bike has proven to be trouble free so far for me.

Loose tappets cause a loss in power-ask them to set the clearance right. Inlet 0.1mm&exhaust 0.2mm.
The handlebar vibe is from the speedo stay-ask them to put a double side tape behind it.

I could not redline the rpm freely in 5th or 6th gear. I need to really rev hard to bring needle to right extent. These SS guys, they just opened the fairing...and try something to tight it. but no improvement. I even told them to check the tappets, engine manifold bolts. one SS guy is asking what is that is!.

what specific instruction ? i should tell them.
